Been here before and it was pretty good but just feeling a bit ripped off this time. Did not make it clear at all that I would be charged $1.50 for feta cheese the register girl asked after I ordered. So already it's like ok decently expenisve gyro already but then when I saw how much cheese they added it's laughable. Extra $1.50 for a garnish?? Plus my gyro as a whole wasn't as good this time. I'll still come back but definitely let down this time. Good dolmas
So delicious!!!đ€€đ

Overall: Pretty meh especially for the price. Up charges/upgrades are ridiculously priced.
Food: I got a gyro wrap plus feta and double meat combo. Wrap alone started at $13 (already pricey) plus an extra $1.50 for a sorry excuse feta sprinkling (see my photo). Double meat was an extra $6.50, which if the meat was good wouldnât be too bad but a lot of pieces were overcooked, dry, and under seasoned yet also overly salty. I made it a âcomboâ which gets you a fountain drink (nothing fancy) and a small portion of decently cooked fries for an extra $5.00. Lastly, the pita was pretty mid and tasted a bit stale. Honestly, if it wasnât for the pricey double meat and fries, Iâd probably still be hungry and Iâm really not a large fella.
Service: I was immediately greeted upon entry by a guy in the kitchen which was nice. Thatâs all that I have nice to say about the service. As I was looking at the menu the lady up front just stared at me without saying a word - no âwhat can I get for you?â or âhow can I help?â While ordering, I was asked âfeta ok?â and I obliged without knowing or being told itâd be an extra up charge for again a sad excuse portion of feta. Then I was asked if I wanted âextra meatâ and to âmake it a comboâ for even more money. I understand wanting to make more money, but the service worker should work on people skills.
Atmosphere: Nothing fancy, nor should it be. There was music playing too loud for my taste but the restaurant looked clean. Lots of parking out front.
Final thoughts: I still tipped 20% to give them the benefit of the doubt totaling $34 for a one person meal. However, after eating my meal and reflecting, I think there are better Mediterranean food establishments to go to especially considering how pricey it is.

Delicious food and pastries, awesome coffee, and the owner is incredibly nice. Also a very nice atmosphere and would be a great place to sit in work or read or relax. Highly recommend checking out this place.

Having Kefta was a strong plus. Just gyros and on the pricier side.

The gyro is very mediocre, but seems very expensive ($13). Overall, I felt like the value was bad especially since the gyro meat seems to be in some preformed slabs or something (not shaved)

I had a day with some family, who came into town and we ended up stopping here to order some food to take with us. While in line, I chatted up the person behind me, who told me he comes and "supports their business at least once a week."
From that, I was almost positive it would be really good. And it really was!
I got a dish that was split, 50% hummus and 50% baba ganoush.
They really did a great jobđ.
We did sit at a table while we waited for our food to be ready.
It was a short wait and calm atmosphere, with several people there eating by themselves, reading books and such.
I'm giving five stars for its simple atmosphere. For this niche, it's five stars.
It's clean and the bathroom is very clean, spacious and can accommodate many.
Service can make or break whether or not I will frequent a place or talk about it. I received service from the person behind the counter and really appreciated her professionalism and warm disposition.
The food was incredible!
And I will be back, thank youâșïž
....
Also, I asked if the baba ganoush was vegetarian and she said it was but that the grill that they use to heat up the pita does have meat prepared on it... But she was happy to give me the pita uncooked so I could toast it when I got home (and it was delicious). I appreciated the information and option. Also, when I couldn't decide between the hummus and the baba ganache, they offered that I could have both. And that was great! I am a picky eater and a vegetarian --and have been both for 40 something years -- and I'm very pleased with the whole interaction and results.
Vegetarian options: They offer the popular vegetarian dishes from this kind of food (like baba ganoush). And the person behind the counter was aware of their practices around meat, which made it easy to ask questions about the degree of how vegetarian something is. I don't like to eat something if it's prepared where meat is prepared. And I know that if I eat out, the risk of that happening is present. So I really appreciate a business that is forthcoming with this information, as this place was/is.
Kid-friendliness: This place is definitely kid-friendly! And the bathroom is a whole entirely separate area and is so spacious.. You would want to accompany your kids to the bathroom because they could find a different way to exit, possibly.

I previously posted that Mumtaz had "the best Mediterranean food in Boulder County!" And was above 5 stars. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case.
First about the food. Most of the chicken entree was good. Chicken was seasoned and charred beautifully, and the pita and baklava were still great. However, the baba ghanouj was not good, and it used to be one of my favorites on the menu! It tasted like an entire bottle of liquid smoke had been poured in it and it was inedible. I used to love their falafel. I ordered a 5 piece of them, but they didn't come out with the food.
This leads me into the customer service: after I noticed we didn't receive the falafels and tasted the disgusting baba ghanouj, I went to speak the employee. First, I told her we didn't get our falafel order and an extra pita I ordered for my daughter. She then proceeded to dig through the trash for the receipt to show me she didn't put them on the order. When I was ordering the falafels she even asked me if I wanted a 2 or 5 piece of them. Since it was her mistake, I asked her to rectify theess up by giving me an order of falafels for free. She refused saying she "read the order back" at the end of the transaction. I have a disability that causes me to dissociate in social situations especially with strangers, so it hard for me to understand what people are verbally saying to me (a screen with the order on it so that the customer can see the order is a life saver for me because I can still focus on reading while dissociating). I felt like she was blaming me for her mistake. Then I told her the baba ghanouj is inedible and ask to switch it with hummus. Again she refused saying she had nothing to do with how it was made! It's not like I ate most of it and asked to switch; I had one bite. And what does it matter if she didn't have anything to do with the cooking. I was not satisfied with the product and that is what matters.
The customer service here was as great as the food was! What the hell happened? I use to drive from Longmont just for Mumtaz, but after this experience, I will no longer go here. I'm kind of sad because I love to support local business. But Cava has better customer service and the food is more consistent.
