We have been to the Post many times and always love it. This time is was just ok. Service was great! Food was blah, chicken was very dry over cooked and didn't seem to be as flavorful. We went for brunch which included my daughter getting pancakes that were under done and soggy. We'll go back to give it another try but were pretty disappointed.
Great Easter Brunch experience. From waffles and chicken to smoked salmon nicoise salad to croque madam - all was great and cooked just right. Great service too - thanks much!
The fried chicken is amazing, make sure you get biscuits, and the chili mac and cheese. One dessert is enough for a table of two, maybe three. They have mocktails but they're pretty pricey for drinks that have no alcohol in them. Service was great.
Weekly go to spot, everything on menu is great - Starters, Salads, Dinners and sides. Usual for me and my family is half roast chicken and or the fried, CBLT, ORIG Fried chicken sandwich and or the salads with sliced grilled chicken breast. Hands down best tasting Fried/Roasted chicken restaurant in Colorado Just go if you haven't, like on a Tuesday you wont be disappointed.
The food was excellent. The restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived except for one large party of demanding, loud, women (like 16 in the party). The server we had acted annoyed with us, barely checked in and looked to be hiding from her table of Karens that heckled her with demands whenever she came by. The result was having to flag down a different waiter to order more drinks and get our daughter a new fork since she dropped hers and we couldn't even hear ourselves think over how loud they were. I'm not sure why the hostess sat us in that section when there were other waiters and the restaurant was mostly empty when the waitress was clearly overwhelmed. For $100 brunch, I shouldn't have to beg the waitstaff to order more items.
Seated in an enclosed patio with a broken window. Hostess would not seat us inside despite it being 4:30pm an most of the dining room empty. Upon leaving at 5:30 the dining room was still only about 50% full. Second and last time this will happen. The food is not good enough to justify the poor treatment.
Vegetarian options: For being a fried chicken place, they have great vegetarian options too

Love everything, especially since I have a wheat allergy and it was easy to know what I could eat (which was a lot!). Please put a location in either in Castle Rock, Monument, or Colorado Springs soon!!!!

Rob, a manger there, is the man. GrubHub bungled my order and he and his staff were quick to make it right. The food is fantastic. You can never go wrong with the chicken and waffles. 5 stars.

Expensive chicken sandwich that was mainly breading, and the one side had basically stale bread topped on it. At least they had "pride".

had another visit to the post and ordered their butternut squash and apple soup with pepitas! yum and so healing to my very soul. feeling on the cusp of a cold? this dazzling gentle flavorful soup is guaranteed to give you a big hug and boost to your immune system while tasting spectacular.
i also ordered the beets and sweets which is red beets (i’d love to see a detroit golden beet in there but who am I lol) and sweet potatoes roasted and topped with delicious house made pesto and mmmm whipped goat cheese.
run. do not walk. to your nearest post, order off the apps or be like me and pick up in restaurant where you will undoubtedly be treated with kindness and sincere gratitude. love y’all. peace.

Food and beer were excellent! My complaint is that The Post allows the InKind app to be associated with their establishment. I signed up for InKind because it said I would get $25.00 off a $75.00 bill, but it doesn’t come off what you pay at the restaurant. It gives you monies onto the app, so therefore you have to visit another restaurant to use those monies. The $25.00 actually got decreased to $21.50 on the app as credit, most of the places that you can use the credit are unknown places to our Erie/Layfayette area so really isn’t any kind of special at all. But now of course the app InKind has all of my information, name, email and phone. Beware of the InKind app. Not what you think.
