Never disappoints - whether fried or roasted, chicken is always tender and flavorful. Also, don't sleep on the meatloaf. Great selection of beers and ales.
The fried chicken is delicious, some of the best I've ever had, as are the biscuits. The side salad was uninspired with tiny bites of cucumber and one cherry tomato. The old fashioned cocktail with huckleberry tasted like cough syrup. Our server was wonderful! Pleasant, efficient and very charming.
This is a heartbreaking review to write as The Post used to be one of my favorite places to eat. The food quality and dishes have declined in quantity substantially since early 2025. My family recently returned to The Post, I ordered my favorite Chicken & Waffles. Previously you would get full chicken cutlets, waffles, seasoned butter and delectable chutney that really made the dish. Now, two chicken fingers on bland waffles, sprinkled with brown sugar and syrup....for $22! Even the deviled egg starters weren't as good, I think they changed the ingredients on those as well. It is unfortunate, but I will be avoiding The Post from now on. Hopefully they reverse course and make their meals interesting once more.

9 of us in town for a college reunion. Great that you could make reservations. This is a hidden gem! The beer was great, those who had cocktails raved about them. Love the Hawaiian black salt used for margaritas! And the fried chicken is by far the absolute best I've ever had! You will not be disappointed here.
Their chicken is amazing! The family meals are great for the value. The only complaint I have is I wish there were vegetable options for the sides.
Excellent service: staff is positive, friendly, and accommodating. Food was delicious. The birthday dessert is awesome!
Couldn't have conversation with shouting. Much too loud for an evening meal with family and friends. Not recommended if you have something to say to your guests.
We ordered chicken tenders (3) with a side of the brussel sprouts and the crispy chicken & goat cheese salad. Both meals were delicious and prepared well. Our server Kat was attentive and made some excellent suggestions, which led us to trying the Par For The Course cocktail. This is/was an excellent choice for those who like ginger!
Four for dinner. We all got fried chicken, either the half chicken or chicken sandwiches. Everyone liked the chicken. I had mashed potatoes and gravy which was good. Others had Mac and cheese with green chilies. I tried my wife's. I thought it was okay but that there were better options on the menu. My wife said she liked it. No complaints about the service. The waitress did a great job making sure we had everything we needed.
Great experience! Staff couldn't have been more welcoming. We had a LARGE party on graduation day. They accommodated us cheerfully. The food was hot and delicious, drinks were cold and the sun was shining on the patio. Great day! Thanks Post!

Great food options including some good vegan/vegetarian options as well. Also appreciate the fun mocktails! It's a favorite for our book club- good food, great service and a comfortable place!
We have been to the Post many times and always love it. This time is was just ok. Service was great! Food was blah, chicken was very dry over cooked and didn't seem to be as flavorful. We went for brunch which included my daughter getting pancakes that were under done and soggy. We'll go back to give it another try but were pretty disappointed.
Great Easter Brunch experience. From waffles and chicken to smoked salmon nicoise salad to croque madam - all was great and cooked just right. Great service too - thanks much!
The fried chicken is amazing, make sure you get biscuits, and the chili mac and cheese. One dessert is enough for a table of two, maybe three. They have mocktails but they're pretty pricey for drinks that have no alcohol in them. Service was great.
Weekly go to spot, everything on menu is great - Starters, Salads, Dinners and sides. Usual for me and my family is half roast chicken and or the fried, CBLT, ORIG Fried chicken sandwich and or the salads with sliced grilled chicken breast. Hands down best tasting Fried/Roasted chicken restaurant in Colorado Just go if you haven't, like on a Tuesday you wont be disappointed.
