The gal at the Boulder Rd. (Lafayette) location @ lunch time went above and beyond for me, very much appreciated! Will def be back, such yummy food!
I ordered two smoothies yesterday. While I was waiting on my smoothies I witnessed one of the workers behind the counter pick his nose, then he found a very large booger and flicked it off his finger, RIGHT BEHIND THE COUNTER! It was so disgusting, I proceeded to tell him that he should at least go wash his hands- he didn’t- he just smiled as I was telling him how disgusting he was for doing such a thing! I was told the manager would be in touch with me because I wanted a refund because there was no way I was drinking those smoothies after witnessing that. I have not received a call- so I tried reaching out to them again- I asked for the manager and they just handed the phone off to another worker. Definitely calling the department of health on this place. Not okay. I even had another customer back up what I witnessed. So gross.
Haven't been to this place for a while they could have done better with service especially on speed and the taste of food it didn't taste as fresh and drinking a simple smoothie didn't really seem like a smoothie it was watered down I got a sunrise sunset and family wanted to pick up food from this location while waiting for a smoothie and wasn't happy on food taste and service if Adam does not like working here he needs to get a new job it seemed like he didn't want to help us customers it explains why the smoothie wasn't good

I always order online from this Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and they never disappoint! My orders are always ready on time and perfectly made. Super convenient, reliable, and a great experience every time.
Oh my goodness, i went in today and met the sweetest boy. His name was Adam, he was a great server and was so patient with because i have a very servre stutter

I ordered a breakfast flatbread sandwich and have been trying to contact the facility but keeps going to a voicemail box. No one is responding. I got sick 15 min after eating my meal. Throwing up and diarrhea. Won't be ordering there again.
Two out of three times that I've gotten a smoothie here it had WAY too much ice in it and therefore no flavor at all. Disappointing when you spend $10 on a smoothie. Will not be coming back.
Arrived 10 mins before closing, door was locked, no one visibly working, and open sign was on. If you close earlier, please update your hours to save the trouble.

Disappointed that we ordered $30+ of smoothie bowls that were frozen solid, only filled half the bowl and minimal toppings.
Expected a fresh smoothie bowl not a half filled frozen bowl that needed thawed for 20min before eating.

This store “manager”, who said his name was MIGUEL, served me an açaí bowl that was a SOLID chunk of frozen iced açaí. It was clear it was taken out of a deep freezer and not blended to soften the frozen fruit into a smoothie. When I noticed that the spoon couldn’t even remotely enter the smoothie bowl, I politely asked the young woman at the cash register to help make it right, explaining the situation. Note: I’ve been to this chain many times and ordered this exact thing many times. I was told by Miguel and the young woman that they could not refund me, they took my original receipt (almost didn’t give it back to me) & said it was impossible me to give me a receipt showing that I can expect a refund in several business days. They also claimed they couldn’t make the smoothie in any other manner… eventually, I left completely dissatisfied and frustrated with the outrageously BAD service & Miguel told me I was “banned from the store for life and if I didn’t leave immediately he was going to call the police”. I left and called my bank right away and reported this FRAUDULENT CHARGE. I will NEVER return to any location, under any circumstance — thanks to MIGUEL at this specific location. He should be fired.
