Lovely dining room and bar. Great service and meals. Our first time to Leadville and we think we chose a great restaurant.

Pretty cool restaurant inside a historic hotel. Felt like going back in time a bit. Got a pizza with jalapeño and pineapple and the fish and chips, both were yummy. The service was great.

What a cool place! Mineral 1886 is such a rare gem in a little old town. We had excellent service and the food was delicious. We had the steak, pizza and roasted chicken. All were prepared very nice and flavorful. The cheese curds were a big hit too! You also get a ton of food so sharing isn't a bad idea.

Atmosphere and vibe was amazing. Service was incredible. Breakfast food not so much. Leadville 100 needed seasoning (salt?) and the potatoes were undercooked. The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were mini pancakes. Orange juice was I don’t know what! Worse the bar mix. My Latte was incredible tho. I’m sure I’ll give it another shot.

The place is cool, mix of modern and mountain lodge. The food was ok at best (we ordered two burgers and steak and eggs).... But we waited for the food for over 30 minutes. I ordered a mimosa (the drinks menu is modest... to be polite), they have mimosas, espresso martini and Bloody Mary, and it took forever yo get it too... when I asked the server she said “it should be coming from the bar”... this was a very busy weekend with the ski joring competition in town but the restaurant did not look overflowing with customers. So, place looks nice, service is SLOW, and food is not worth the wait.

Our reservation was selected from the available times and accepted. This did appear to be the last reservation seating for lunch before the dinner reservations began. However, when we walked in 15 minutes early for our reservation, we were turned away saying the kitchen had already closed. I understand restaurants that close for a short time between lunch and dinner reservations, but you should not list a seating time that is not valid. Otherwise we could have planned differently and ultimately left disappointed.

Fantastic service, the food was delicious, and the staff accommodating for our kiddos. Also, if they happen to have a cocktail of the evening, get it! The night we were there was a blueberry basil margarita and it was amazing!

Other than the waitress we had (never around, forgets everything, treats you like an annoyance) it was great! The short-haired blond with the black headband and bad attitude needs to find a different career.

Great location in a historic building, nice ambiance and decorations. Good food from a creative and innovative menu. Good for foodies.

Crazy poor level of customer service. I called at 1:50pm (just before lunch closed) and asked where I could find an up to date dinner menu. The woman on the phone took down my email and said she’d email it to me. I checked my email multiple times until I called back at 5:40pm to inquire again. Evidently my email was typed in incorrectly. Okay no big deal. I said could it be sent again now to the correct email so we can decide if we will be coming tonight for dinner? The woman on the phone said yes (Jasmine). A few minutes later, I received a brunch menu in my email. I called again and asked if I could see a dinner menu. Jasmine said they don’t have the dinner menu as a PDF and therefore cannot send it. I explained I had been waiting all afternoon for the menu, and could someone just take a photo of it and send it to me? “No, we don’t have any way to do that.” I asked if I could speak to a manager and was told no because there was no manager at the restaurant. I asked for the manager’s name, and I was told Yasmine. I said, “So the manager is Yasmine, and you are Jasmine, and you are not a manager?” She said she was not. I asked, “And there is no manager on duty on a Saturday night for the dinner shift?” She said no there was not. And then asked, “So just to be clear, there is no way for me to know what is on your menu?” She said no.

Things that should’ve happened instead:

1. My email was taken down incorrectly after I repeated it three times. The person could have also read it back to me for clarity.

2. Sending me a brunch menu 4 hours later when I asked for a dinner menu was a waste of time. I should have been told on the phone they didn’t have a PDF of the dinner menu on my first or second call.

3. Someone should have taken a photo and sent me the menu, or simply read the few dishes off to me on the phone.

4. I don’t know if she was a manager pretending not to be, or if the manager didn’t want to speak to me, but it is very doubtful that there is NO manager in the restaurant on a Saturday evening. This was very unprofessional.

This whole experience was a rollercoaster and so unnecessary. We have allergies and dietary restrictions in our group and do not wish to go and sit down at a restaurant only to find out we aren’t able to dine there. Asking what they served for dinner was a simple and COMMON request and could have been very easily accommodated. The attitude on the phone made everything way worse as well.

The food was great! Only complaint about the food was our hash browns were cold.

It took about 45 minutes to get our meal. And service was a bit slow but it was a busy Sunday morning. But the staff was very apologetic and good service.
