Excellent food and great “cute” service. Meat was done just right. “Medium “. Wife had the vegetarian pasta.

This is a basic old time steak house with a limited menu. The prices are very good and you will leave full. Best steak ever? No. It doesn't really compete with the high end steak places elsewhere, but for the price point its a really good value and well worth the visit. Service is hurried and below average. Most likely a staffing issue. Regardless we would return.

We went shortly after 4:00p.m. Without reservations and had no issues. The menu is extremely simple. Filet minion or prime rib (depending on the day of the week). There are several cut sizes to choose from and the prices are incredibly reasonable. The meals are basic: steak (prime rib), wedge salad, baked potato and a large slice of warm bread (with the meat/potato). My husband and my steaks were cooked to order and very good - especially for the price. You can not go wrong with this restaurant. Less expensive than the Mexican restaurant next door and much better.

My husband and I were wonderfully surprised by this place! The food was delicious! We've been to Leadville multiple times and have never had the chance to check this place out. I can confidently say that it's a new favorite! We both got the Filet Mignon and it came with everything pictured. The salad comes with a white dressing, it's NOT ranch. It was good, though!

In a time when it is hard to find good service, we have been blessed to dine at Quincy's! Vanessa worked her TAIL OFF! She had many tables and was on POINT at all times!! The food was good enough... but the SERVICE was the BEST!! We debated even going out to eat tonight. So glad we did!

A little pricey, but they certainly know how to cook a steak. The desserts are quite unique and delicious too.

We are here for the week of hiking and saw their sign. Googled them and saw they only have 1 Entre per night. Tonight was Prime Rib so we went. We were seated immediately, Waitress was there right away even though they were 80% full. The ordering was easy, "How do you want your prime rib and what do you want on your baked potato". Genius. Meal came in maybe 15-20 mins and was perfect Good cut of meat and done exactly as we asked. One other thing, we were out of there at a great price as well. Can not recommend more.

We had the prime rib. You won’t find a better meal for the price. Staff was super friendly and we really enjoyed our experience here. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Leadville.

We were pre-informed by the hostess upon entering that the only steak option tonight was filet mignon. That was fine with us. However we ordered two fillets medium rare and you can see in the photos that they were well done on the outside and pretty well done on the inside. There was nothing rare about them. Our waitress was Lorinda... she brought water to our table and never introduced herself nor did she ask for our drink order, so we didn't order any beverages. I would describe her as less than friendly. The salad was exceptional. The potato and the French bread were also exceptional. Our waitress never came back to ask us if our steaks were cooked to our liking, in fact she did not check back on us until we were almost finished eating. The flavor of the steak was superb. No steak sauce was needed. The texture, however was WAY OFF. I do not know if the waitress wrote down BOTH steak temperatures wrong? It just seems unlikely that the individual grilling at a steakhouse would NOT know how to cook a steak medium rare.

It's simple. If it's Sunday through Thursday: what size filet mignon do you want? If it's Friday or Saturday: what size prime rib do you want? It all comes with a baked potato (get the horseradish too) and a wedge salad. All at a reasonable price with friendly service. Maybe add a beer or a margarita if you want to treat yourself. Living in Leadville, we've made this a regular outing among my friends. Highly recommend!

This is a strange review for a vegetarian to write, considering that Quincy's is an iconic wild west steak house. However, visitors to Leadville have heard about Quincy's and want to visit this carnivore's delight. Last night, three of the four of us got the 6-ounce filet mignon. The menu is simple. There is usually one cut of steak on the menu each night: Sunday-Thursday is filet mignon and Friday and Saturday is prime rib. You can choose your size up to a 15-ounce filet mignon or a 20-ounce prime rib. The dinners come with salad (iceberg wedge with lots of a creamy dressing), baked potato, bread, and horseradish (if you want it). Be sure to request your salad dressing and/or butter and sour cream for your baked potato on the side if you don't want mega-quantities of each! The butter on top of the baked potato looked like a scoop of ice cream! The good thing for vegetarians is that there is vegetarian lasagna on the menu every night and it is reliably excellent! It is full of greens, veggies, ricotta, and mozzarella and tasty as restaurant veggie lasagna gets. The macaroni and cheese used to be only on the children's menu, as I recall, but it was on the regular menu last night. These are vegetarian, not vegan. You used to be able to get a "vegetable plate" consisting of baked potato, salad, and bread, but I did not see it on the menu last night. You might ask, but really, this isn't the best restaurant for vegans. One note from a past visit: my husband likes his steak medium, and he had to send it back three times before it was no longer raw. But that was just once, and his steak was fine yesterday. There is no wine list to speak of, which is a bit odd and unfortunate for a steak house. There is a list of house wines, including Chardonnay, White Zinfandel, and Cabernet Sauvignon, which would seem the best choice for stake. There is a bar, so you can also order cocktails. The house Margarita was a perfect classic and only $4. Service was fine, as always at Quincy's.

Quincy's has been around for a long time and has stood the test. People come from distances to eat here for good reason. While the menu is limited, it is excellent. Sunday through Thursday is filet mignon. Friday & Saturday it's prime rib. The prime rib was cooked as we ordered, medium rare. It was perfect and a delicious cut of beef. It's served with ausjou dipping broth but don't pass up the great horseradish side, All dishes come with bake potato and a kinda strange wedge salad. But that's not why you visit Quincy's. There's a few choices for those that are vegan, but why bother? Go elsewhere for that, .Card carrying carnivores will be VERY happy here. When the check comes you'll leave knowing you got a screaming deal. While you are waiting, entertain yourself with the period pictures and drawings on the wall of Leadville's early days. Don't forget to look up and see the original hammered tin ceiling, as in the Molly Brown house in Denver, and check out the original back bar as you enter. The restaurant was part of the famous Tabor Hotel, a historic treasure. Enjoy!

My family have been going to Quincy’s for forty years. We’ve always loved it, unfortunately after tonight we will probably not be going back. 7 out of the 9 steaks ordered at our table were severely over cooked. We were able to send one of them back. It was ordered medium rare and cooked well done. The waitress took it back before the rest of us could cut into ours, then did not come back to our table for 20 minutes. The rest of us never had a chance to send our steak back. At that point, we decided we’d rather eat the bad steaks than wait another hour. Meanwhile, our entire table had finished the meal and they hadn’t brought back our friend’s new steak. We politely asked the waitress, who said they were still working on it. Waited another ten minutes, asked again, same answer. In case you didn’t know, it doesn’t take 35 minutes to cook a medium rare steak. The service was terrible the entire night, and the steaks were abysmal. I understand the restaurant may have been understaffed, however we were one of only 3 parties in the whole building. Chefs can’t cook as ordered. Waitress disappeared for thirty minutes at a time. Not worth coming back.

Advertises online and physically outside the restaurant that they close at 9pm but I am told while waiting inside at 7:55pm that they close at 8pm. I'm told to have a good night. ...
