Local perspective: I would not recommend Silver Dollar Saloon. My experience with the current operation left me genuinely frightened. I felt intimidated to the point that I left and later filed an official police report.

If you find yourself feeling unsafe or pressured while visiting, trust your instincts, leave, and document what happened. Situations that create fear or intimidation shouldn’t be ignored.

Passing through Leadville and excited to stop here on thanksgiving as they were actually open… little did we know we were walking into a free thanksgiving dinner. Not only was it delicious but ambiance was amazing. Hidden gem, nicest people around…glad we found them, will be back many times to come!

I have wanted to try this place for awhile when we pass through Leadville because the menu looked good. I wish I had of tried it sooner! My husband got the fried yak and I got the Walley Poor Boy. They were both great the chixken tenders and onion rings the kids got were fantastic. The service was great!

The food was good. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere was entertaining. Of all the places we ate during our 3 days in Leadville, we rate this the best place to eat.

A legendary saloon in Leadville. Loved the Braised Lamb Shank. Yummy. The California Dreamin was playing, appropriaty so, while having a drink there on a frigid afternoon.

Old school saloon. Onion rings are delicious as well as the pork sliders. Would recommend to anyone making a trip to Leadville. Great job everyone!!

Meh. Moderately decent drinks. Apparently they stop serving food at 6:00 pm 🤷‍♂️
