We stopped to charge our car, and stepped into the diner intending to get a quick snack. When we sat down, and looked at the menu, we were excited to see it full of unique and authentic Georgian food. Borscht, Khachapuri, Baklava, and so many more items we were so excited to try. Hands down the best meal I have had since being overseas last. Alex Taverna in Limon is such a hidden gem. I could eat here every single night. I cannot describe how delicious and fresh each single dish was. If you have not yet been, you need to go!
The owners are the most kind hearted people I have come across, and they put their heart and soul into their food. 5 ⭐️ all the way around!
Sorry Alex, but we really weren’t impressed. Our food was warmed up, not fresh or even hot. The atmosphere was ok, super casual, nothing intimate or cozy and the service was very scrambled/rushed. We were quite surprised considering the fabulous reviews…
