Didn't care for their AI answering machine. Took too long to get my order placed because it needed to be edited multiple times. I'd rather talk to a human being!

Let me start by saying that we are HUGE fans of Beau Jo’s Mountain Pizza. We had only been to the Idaho Springs and Denver locations previously but saw this location closer to where we were staying and said “cool”! First impression was not great: it’s in a strip mall and the spot is VERY small but we pressed on because we love the pizza so much. Unfortunately, the pizza was not up to the standard we enjoyed at the other locations. The staff was borderline rude, as if we were bothering them. The coup de grâce, firmly securing the 1-star rating was the fact that everything was served on plastic with plastic utensils. Utter failure…avoid at all costs.

I was so happy to see mountain pies nearby! It's not the atmosphere you get in Idaho Springs, but it's super clean, the same pizza and the staff was delightful! Love having a Beau Jo's so easy to get to!

It is in a strange location and their sign doesn't help you find the place. But the pizza is good 🍕

This may be the best pizza I've ever had; it is outstanding. The toppings are high quality at a moderate price. Don't judge the restaurant on its basic accommodations, wait til you have your pizza.

Still one of the best pizzas in CO! This is a smaller location but easy to get in and out.

I'm sorry guys, this is not Beau Jo's. It's a branded strip mall spot with almost no decor. I ordered a pizza tonight and it was subpar at best ($40 for a custom LG with 3 toppings). I hate being negative but people need to be held accountable for exploiting these places we love as they chip away quality to increase profits. Beau Jo's is not a brand I recommend anymore and visiting this location sealed the deal. What major corporation bought you guys?

The staff is ok. Not friendly and not unfriendly. This isn’t a full service restaurant you order at the counter and they call your number. So I’m sure that is the reason.

My biggest issue was this location does not serve mountain pie. The crust here is mediocre at best. If you want REAL MOUNTAIN PIE go to the Arvada or Idaho Springs location. I was very disappointed when I pizza came out and it wasn’t the same crust that I’ve been used to for 20 years. The crust they call mountain at this location is like crust you would get at Pizza Hut/papa John’s. Not the big thick crust that I’m used to from Beau Jo’s

I probably will not be back to this location for the fact that they don’t have the same mountain pie crust that the other locations offer.

This is the second order I have placed at Beau Jo’s in Lone Tree, both orders were take and bake. This specific location promotes itself as a to-go option, not necessarily a sit down restaurant. My family loves the Idaho Springs location, which always has great pizza, including take and bake. This location, much different experience. My call ahead order was taken by an AI bot. The in house staff always seems to be running behind. I ordered two, 2lb pizzas, with packaging, they weighed 1.8lbs and 1.6lbs. The total cost, $44. The crust Beau Jo’s is known for was barely there. I really wanted to love this location but there are too many wrinkles that need to be ironed out for me to continue to spend almost $50 to bake my own dinner.

This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Really fresh ingredients, sauce is really flavorful. Little sweet option for the crust.

The restaurant is small, and they seemed understaffed, as everyone was wait 20-30 minutes for their food

Here’s an expanded, more engaging version that keeps a professional tone while sharpening the impact:

If you’d asked me to come up with a reason to charge $44 for a large pizza, I doubt I could — and after this experience, I’m not convinced Beau Jo’s can either. At that price point, you expect something memorable: craftsmanship, flavor, and the kind of quality that makes you say, “Okay, now I get it.” Instead, what arrived was a letdown.

The crust, which is usually one of Beau Jo’s redeeming signatures — light, fluffy, and comforting — was hard, dense, and nearly inedible. The rest of the pizza followed suit: uninspired, lacking any spark that could justify the premium cost. When a restaurant sets its prices at the top tier, it has a responsibility to deliver an equally elevated experience.

Sadly, this one missed the mark entirely. Beau Jo’s, you can do better.

Guess I expected it to be like the one in Idaho springs which is warm and inviting this one is not.
