They food could use better recipes. Besides all of it being cold it had no flavor. The omelet was hard and boring. Atmosphere was nice. Server was over worked.

The once proud Mimis has fallen on hard times. Disinterested servers, fair, uninspired (and that's generous) food and dated decor. You know a place is in trouble when they cut corners by eliminating even single use paper menus.

The only reason this was 3 stars is due to our server being very attentive and sweet. The food was aweful. My husband got the chicken and waffles, I had the Cajun penne (I can't remember what is was actually called). Both were overwhelmingly disappointing. The shrimp in the Cajun penne was barely cooked, the sausage was also very skeptical. The dish was super salty and not very warm. The chicken and waffles were sad unflavored chicken strips on top of very plain waffles. The only reason I'm posting is in hopes this was just a bad night for the place and the feedback might be beneficial. Not to mention the place smelled like sewer but thats not necessarily anyone's fault. It just didn't help.

Mimi's Cafe has become one if our favorite places to eat. I love that they have "all day breakfast" menu. It's great for Sunday brunch, altho eating outside has a lot of traffic noise. The staff is very friendly. The food is wonderful. The prices might seem a little high if you're on a tight budget. I give it 5 stars!

Service was great, but my salmon killed all the fish in the ocean. This was due to all the salt being removed from the ocean and placed on my salmon. Wife had the same dish and same issue. If the chef had tasted the dish, it would have never left the kitchen. Pancakes for the kids were great.
