Moonga Sushi (Okinawa)

Passed this place many times but never stopped. Decided to stop in a month ago and try it. All I can say is WOW! It was fantastic. Service was exceptional and loved the atmosphere. Ordered takeout last week and still, food was amazing, fresh, and so good. This is definitely my new favorite sushi spot! Highly recommend!

Great sushi and ramen! Ramen was fantastic with larger pork portion and fantastic flavor. Our role were not over stuffed with rice like some places while still having fish ratio. Our server Tria was very friendly. Definitely a place to frequently visit.

If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would! This sushi spot is a true gem — everything from the presentation to the freshness of the fish is top-notch. The chefs clearly take pride in their craft; each roll was beautifully balanced in flavor and texture. The sashimi practically melted in my mouth, and the specialty rolls were creative without being overcomplicated.
The service from Tria was attentive but never intrusive, and the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between elegant and comfortable. You can tell they use the highest quality ingredients and treat each plate like art. Whether you’re a sushi enthusiast or just dipping your toes in, this is the place to go.
Can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu — a perfect dining experience from start to finish!

Just happened to be passing by and decided to stop in and I’m glad I did ! Tria, the server and her colleague the sushi Chef were very friendly and timely. The fish was so fresh and buttery. I’ll definitely be coming back !

Amazing food, best place around to get sushi. The fish is what amazes me, very high quality and it shows. Staff is very friendly. Our server is the best every time. Prices are good for the value, good variety of dishes aside from sushi.

This used to be my favorite sushi in the area, but tonight was not it. Food was not good, and the service was very bad. The sushi rolls had an excessive amount of sauce covering them, and the sauce flavor was just gross. My daughter normally gobbles tons of food there, and ate only 3 pieces before telling us it was disgusting and wouldn't eat any more. Service was slow, got our order wrong (but said they would prove we ordered something, then had to admit we were right). Did the same thing to a table next to us as well. Super dissapointed, as I do not envision us going back again.

My fiancée and I have been eating at Moonga for the last year and a half and this is our favorite sushi spot without having to venture into the city.

While the outside is fairly unassuming, we are always treated very well and served quickly (shout out to Tria!), and most importantly, their maki rolls have a great fish to rice ratio. The price per roll is also fantastic.

Our favorite rolls are the Alaska and the NY rolls, and the quality of the rolls are always consistently good.

Highly recommend this hidden gem in Highlands Ranch.

It’s tight inside, and the booth we had smelled like pee…

They bring the food out in a large cutting board, and they don’t know their own menu very well.
