We came in looking for a caterer who could make an all-vegan menu that everyone would love, and they delivered with different stations of our favorite foods so there was something for everyone. The day of, everything ran smoothly (even at a tricky venue), the catering and bartending staff was excellent, guests with allergies were taken care of, and they were attentive to make sure we got to enjoy all the different types of food ourselves!

I recently worked at a wedding catered by Relish as the photography team, and unfortunately, I had a really disappointing experience. We arrived at 11:00 am for a full day of coverage and, like most vendors, expected a break and a hot meal during dinner service. Especially since we had submitted our meal preference back on April 30th.
When dinner began, we were told to wait until all guests we served. Over 20 minutes passed with no follow-up. After checking with the planner, we were finally told that the food was almost gone. The catering manager, Karen, mentioned that their own staff hadn't eaten yet either and offered to order pizza for the vendors. In the meantime, we were allowed to grab whatever small portions were left.
We had less than 5 minutes to eat before being pulled for speeches. When we returned an hour later after speeches, our untouched plates had been thrown away, and no one followed up or offered any of the promised pizza. After working more than 9 hours without a break or a meal, we were left feeling frustrated and disrespected.
We don't expect special treatment, but basic consideration for working vendors is industry standard, and this was a BIG miss. I hope Relish considers how their vendor hospitality impacts the overall event experience.
I would like to add that I emailed them the next day after the wedding about our experience, asking for an explanation on what happened, and today is Thursday now, and I haven't received any communication at all. This is extremely disappointing, and I didn't want to leave a review for another vendor, but after this entire experience, I feel completely disrespected by a fellow vendor.
