We had our rehearsal dinner there last weekend in the private, upstairs balcony room. It was an amazing experience and a super casual, fun atmosphere in which to catch up with all of our friends and family flew in from out of town for our wedding!
It was an awesome choice of location as well, because our room block was at the Element hotel, so our guests did not have to worry about drinking and driving. It was a simple, three minute walk from the front door of the restaurant to their hotel.
Everybody loved the margaritas and the taco bar and the service was awesome! (We had a little under 60 guests, of which about 12 were under 18, so it was super fun for kids as well!
Planning this event was made extraordinarily easy due to the awesome communication and customer service from Juan Mendoza, and Julio Vazquez, who absolutely contributed to lowering my wedding planning stress!:)
We highly recommend this for an event like that, but we also love going to this restaurant as a family for family dinners!

We hosted a rehearsal dinner here and were quite pleased. Juan, Julio and the team were great to work with. They were very responsive and timely with communication. The food and beverage service was outstanding. We utilized their 2nd floor space which provided the exclusiveness we wanted. Many thanks to the Rio Grande team for a great experience. Highly recommended.

Came here to use my Resy Credit! The Happy Hour includes $3 beer and $5 wine!! Fantastic prices and they have IPAs and local beers, plus a mix of wines! My waitress Allie was super friendly!

My husband and I went to The Rio on 9-4-2025. We have been going to The Rio for many years, but don't go a lot because we live quite a way from Lone Tree. In our family, they have been known for having such great cheese enchiladas. Well...their food is not what it used to be. The cheese enchiladas appeared to be just filled with cheddar cheese. We also used to love the chili rellenos because the filling was a great mix. Now, it appears like it's just montery jack cheese and the chilis were almost raw, which made them hard to cut. The vegetarian green chili was bland and tasteless. We used to love this place, not much now.

Rio was a good experience. I had the taco flight and the steak taco was by far the best. The margaritas were a hit with the ladies in our group, especially the mini margarita. The staff was really nice and effective in making sure the food allergies in our group were addressed. It was overall a nice dinner and good food.

Though the food was not as expected in most of the Mexican style food served restaurants & was expensive too as per quality but the staff was good and friendly.
Table - not clean , plates - not clean, served plate - not clean.
If you are bar lover , may be you will like it.
