Amazing Chicken Pho. Top 5 I have had, and I travel the US and try food in every city. Great broth, fresh ingredients, and amazing flavor.
I had the pho gai ( pho chicken). Really disappointed in what they used for the ingredients. It's just pho both with dry chicken breast. This is not how you make pho gai. The broth suppose to be from the chicken. They pretty much used package chicken breast and dunk it in pho. Not even a traditional pho gai but a cheap version thinking ppl are too dumb to notice.
The service here is horrible. I just picked up a rare steak pho to go and asked him for extra sriracha sauce. He threw a fit like a child and then said if I wanted extra he had to charge me. So I won’t be able to enjoy it the way that I normally would have. Never have been treated like that at a restaurant. I told him it was my first time there and I surely wouldn’t be coming back. Small portion sizes for a lot of money.
food was delicious but service was terrible. he assumed we had no money because my sister and i were dressed down. he gave excellent service to the other tables and stopped by frequently, right in our face, but completely ignored us. my sister and i are very wealthy, however since he assumed we were not going to tip, that’s exactly what he scored himself.
Taste of Vietnam is a delightful hidden gem that delivers an exceptional dining experience. From the moment you step in, the aroma of fragrant herbs and spices sets the stage for an authentic culinary journey.
The food is nothing short of spectacular—every dish bursts with bold, fresh flavors that capture the essence of Vietnamese cuisine. Whether it’s the perfectly balanced pho, the crispy yet tender banh xeo, or the rich, savory clay pot dishes, each bite transports you straight to the streets of Vietnam.
Beyond the phenomenal food, the warm and welcoming staff elevate the experience even further. Their knowledge of traditional recipes and willingness to provide thoughtful recommendations make every visit special.

Fabulous food in unassuming atmosphere. Try the shaking beef and salted shrimp, it was so flavorful. Authentic Vietnamese in an authentic Vietnamese atmosphere.

Visiting from Southern CA, so I thought I wouldn't be able to find a good Vietnamese restaurant here, but I was wrong! This gives comparable quality to socal!
We tried the BBQ meat + rice plate and Pho. Pho had great broth, and BBQ meat was perfectly tender with sauce that's a little too sweet but has adequate heat.
Overall it's great!

Beware of “To-Go” orders as the containers they use for their broth are not anywhere near suitable to take home. They will melt and create a huge mess and potentially ruin your vehicle or cause severe burns to passengers. After making it home with a soupy mess in a bag that was also on the verge of melting, we called the restaurant back and asked for a refund or store credit only to be told with a sarcastic chuckle “it is not our fault, but bring the food back and we will refund you.” we were expected to bring our melting bag back full of broth before any compensation was considered. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing service experience.

This is the best Vietnamese food we have ever had, and we’ve tried a LOT. The family that runs this business is amazing and they are truly gifted at what they do. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Eating at Taste of Vietnam makes any day better.
