You don't know Mexican food until you come to Abuelita's. The food is all so good, cooked to perfection, and seasoned with love. The quesadilla was great. The rice and beans were perfect. This is a little gem for Northern Colorado authentic Mexican food.

Small, there is only one seating place, authentic (you can tell it is family owned with flavorful homey recipes) will definitely be coming back ! Perfect for a quick on the road stop for food that doesn’t involve junk fast food.

Everything I had was pretty good the chile Relleno burrito, breakfast burrito with bacon smothered with red sauce and the enchiladas. I guess the only thing that wasn't great was the menudo, it was under cooked and still chewy.

Abuelita’s Mexican Restaurant – Longmont, CO
Pulled up to Abuelita’s for a breakfast burrito—had heard it’s a local favorite and wanted to see what the hype was about. The burrito was solid. Nothing mind-blowing, but definitely good. Fresh, warm, and satisfying. Not something I’d drive across town for, but I’m glad I tried it.
That said, you can tell this place means something to the community. It’s got that low-key, hidden gem energy— I respect that.
