So many vegan options. Although the menu is not fully vegan, there were so many vegan options that we barely even noticed. The dessert ice cream with all the toppings was delicious as well.
The menu and restaurant are beautiful, all the food is absolutely delicious, presentation is gorgeous and the owner, Annie, is all-around amazing! Deserving of their award for best Thai in Boulder County! Loved the spring rolls, Panang curry, Thai fried rice and Anchan ice cream medley! đ Updated from previous review on 2025-04-18

It was the worst Thai food Iâve ever had. We came back after the good impression of the first time and it was totally disappointing. The papaya salad was so sweet, stale and missing flavor, the shrimps were under cooked .The pad Thai was soggy, noodle was all broken up, it tastes like soggy noodle dessert cuz it was so sweet. Tom KhĂĄ was the only dish that I thought was ok. There was only one server around and he kept disappearing to the back. We definitely will never go back

Excellent food, beautiful presentation we will be coming here again!
Good food, but it took a really long time. A little more greasy and salty than I prefer.

Food is delicious, the wait staff was good, a little slow but she was also seating and waiting and doing take out for the whole show. But I get it, it was just too busy for one, but probably not busy enough for two, it'd be perfect if you could hire half a person. I had pad thai with mung bean noodles and chicken, and it had a great sweet flavor, next time I'll get it spice level 4, cause 3 is more like diablo sauce than a jalapeno.
My only beef is that the fountain makes the place smell musty, it's not a big thing for me, and the fountain is pretty, but again, it's musty smelling.

I loved the atmosphere! The service was ok, not warm and friendly, but not impolite or rude. We left cash at the table and started to leave. The young server kind of yelled at us across the restaurant that we hadnât paid. I said there was cash on the table and he immediately changed his tone, but he was so close to our table. He could have easily looked before taking such a tone. It was a bit embarrassing to be yelled at in front of people but I understand he was trying to catch us before we left. I didnât care for the chicken pad Thai though. It was incredibly bland. I ordered it at a 3 spice level and there was some heat to it. Just not as flavorful as I expected. I was there with a friend and she said her meal was great.
Parking: Lots of parking available in the parking lot when we were there.

The restaurant is a little hard to find (around back in what looks like an office building), but sooo worth it. The atmosphere is very nice, and the food was amazing. It is owned and operated by a married couple -- the wife is Thai and the menu is made up of her family's recipes. The vegetables were incredibly fresh and cooked perfectly (nothing soggy), the sauces were flavorful and not oily, and the portions were generous. It looks like they have some outdoor seating. Do note, though, that the less expensive lunch menu offered on weekdays is not available on weekends. I wish I lived closer and could go more often!

We have yet to have a dish we didn't really enjoy at Anchan Thai. I really love the Drunken Noodles and my wife loves the Panang Curry. Even our kids enjoy the kids menu items. We have typically gone over lunch and the service has always been great. They even opened about 10 minutes early once when they saw us waiting outside. This is our favorite Thai place around!

This is such a cute place and the crab wontons are amazing! The panang curry is also delicious.
I have eaten here several times and really enjoy this restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. They have several gluten free and vegan options. They also have GF vegan ice cream available in anchan coconut, Thai tea, and coffee flavors. Highly recommend checking them out!
