Second time trying their handmade pasta, been here once about a year ago, the food has just gotten better. My favorite Italian joint in Longmont. Great service and wonderful atmosphere as always.

Good food. Good service. Restaurant was cold and the music was bad. Could hear the staff’s conversations from the kitchen, but overall still quite pleasant dining.

We really enjoyed our meal. This place has a nice, intimate atmosphere. The food was excellent. And the service was stellar.

The menu is set up so that you can order the pasta you want, with the sauce you want, and the add-ins you want. It means the menu is very simple, but your options are huge.

We were luckily seated outdoors. Indoors which unfortunately I experienced for longer than I cared to, waiting for the one restroom, was so smoky. I'm not sure how anyone could stand to be seated indoors. All three of us agreed if they had sat us indoors we would have had to leave before ordering.
The food:
My fettuccine was undercooked. And I say that as someone who thoroughly enjoys al dente pasta. I really wish I had sent it back.
My fiance's pasta (also an al dente fan) had soggy overcooked pasta. The friend sitting with us had the best pasta which was nothing special but at least properly cooked. We won't be coming back.

One of the best Italian restaurants in the area. The homemade pasta is always perfect. A relatively simple (but not skimpy) selection of delicious menu items along with the diversity of build-your-own options. Great food and great wine selection every time!

Lovely place. It's not authentic Italian, but it is delicious, reasonably priced, and has great atmosphere and service. I've been back a few times already.

Carciofi in Longmont sets a new standard for Italian cuisine in the area, offering some of the best homemade pasta I've ever tasted. With entrées priced between $15-20, their pasta dishes deliver incredible value. The fresh, homemade pasta was an unexpected delight, surpassing the typical culinary standards found in Longmont. The service at Carciofi adds to the experience, striking a perfect balance between professionalism and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The staff are both talented and approachable, enhancing the overall dining experience with their attentive and personable service.

However, Carciofi's beverage program leaves much to be desired. The cocktail menu is overpriced and lacks transparency, with no pricing listed for mixed drinks. My Negroni was a disappointment - served in a small glass packed with ice, it quickly became diluted and finished in just a few sips. The Aperol Spritz, advertised as made with Champagne, tasted more like it was made with Prosecco or Cava, falling short of expectations. The wine list is similarly uninspiring, featuring selections from a single distributor with prices that don't reflect the quality. For a restaurant boasting such spectacular pasta, the absence of classic Italian wines is a significant oversight. With summer in full swing, I was looking for a classic dry and crisp rosé, but the only thing offered was a semi-sweet, slightly effervescent Vihno Verde. The beer selection also fails to excite. Carciofi could greatly benefit from curating a more thoughtful and diverse beverage program to complement their exceptional cuisine.

I am excited to come back and see how they grow.

Had the bread with balsamic, arancini and cacao de pepe. Everything was delicious and service was awesome. Small place but has a classy feel to it.

It's ok, the food is very much mediocre Italian which I guess goes farther out here. I got excited seeing an Italian restaurant so highly rated, but alas, Longmont still doesn't have properly good Italian outside of my kitchen.
