I was pretty disappointed by what I saw recently at Mountain Kava. There was a woman with a baby who looked less than a year old inside, while people were vaping indoors. I’m not trying to ruin anyone’s fun, but when there’s a baby around, it’s important to remember why vaping indoors is banned statewide in Colorado in the first place. Vape smoke has harmful chemicals that linger in the air and cling to surfaces. It can be especially bad and potentially dangerous for infants and children.

This place should be either be strictly for adults who can make their own decisions about their health, or if babies are going to be allowed, then the business needs to follow the state rules that don’t allow vaping indoors such that everyone is protected, especially those who can’t advocate for themselves.

I hope they take this seriously and make some changes because right now this approach is irresponsible at best and outright negligent at worst.

This place is amazing, however theres been a problem with people leaving their bags and drinks on tables and couches without returning for hours, especially those who camp in the corner near the TV. And also the lack of consistent with the dog rule is a little strange to me, like only regulars are allowed to bring their dogs in. The music is also a little too loud sometimes, other then that this is an amazing bar, and I really enjoy coming here.

I love their drinks, especially the kratom drinks! My girlfriend and I filled out 'passports' for engraved shot glasses. All of the drinks on there were incredible; the flavor and the effects!

The service is also great, the employees are happy to serve you with a smile and explain anything you have questions about.

I love the atmosphere as well. The people I see there are very much my sort of vibe, and they all are genuinely friendly and laid back. We have yet to attend trivia but are going to at some point very soon. It's a good and big space with different things to entertain yourself. Very cozy furniture as well! The Hallmark of a good atmosphere is good company and a cozy couch.
