Well I see why the place gets 3.5 stars and no one was really here at prime dinner hour. Not a lot of g-free options. Ordered the cherry glaze salmon and the salmon was fishy and dry and the sauce super sweet. Wine was average as well at $22 for a 9 ounce poor. Live music and patio were nice. Service decent but won't be back as I require better food when I spend money eating out.

Under new ownership. Executive Chef Bill Lusk and his wife Danielle are the new owners who hail from South Carolina. South Carolina’s loss is Longmont’s gain! We stopped in for dinner last night and were treated to great, innovative food packed with intricate and deep flavors. I had the chimichurri burger with pico de gallo, homemade queso fresco and chimichurri. It was wonderfully flavorful, a good portion and hot. Companion had the pork chops which were bathed in flavors of Autumnal glory with an apple Demi glaze, blue cheese crumbles and Brussels sprouts. Really interesting and awesome flavor combinations that come together in a marvelous way on the tongue. The chocolate cake was fabulous too with a depth of flavor that was full and mysterious. Wonderful food, very friendly owners and staff. Do yourselves a favor and give them a try. They’re supposed to be renowned for their farm to table steaks… that’s what we’ll be trying next!

Great staff and Wes was a great sound guy and a pleasure to work with !

Throwing people out for dancing (when they were drinking soda and not causing any issues), horrible overpriced “food” and a generally anemic, indifferent approach to patrons PAYING for live bands. ?

They cancelled my favorite band with less than 24 hours in advance and didn't even promote the event. Lame!

Today was our first time at the Dickens we went for breakfast and ordered biscuits and gravy . The service was fine. The biscuits we're still and hard. We let the waitress know but nothing was done to attempt to remedy the matter. Not sure if we will return.

There were five of us there for New Year's Eve dinner. The only thing that was any good was the prime rib. The filet mignon was overcooked, and although both of our two orders were supposed to be eight ounces, was was clearly less. The chicken marsala was undercooked, the baked brie was supposed to be in puffed pastry, but there was too little pastry and it did not puff. The french onion soup was bland. There was no way that the food was any where worth the price. At least the service was okay.

I have reviewed this place in past and it was good. It is now Dickens 300 Prime. I think I may have been the first review since the name change. The service the night before my recent visit and when I arrived today was great. the new staff that came on at shift change was very un-professional and not trained at all. The manager is failing this business in a profound way. I hope the owners step up and correct the customer service before it's too late. The manager won't.

We booked our daughters wedding at the Dickens Opera House on Oct 30th 2021. Everything was outstanding! The staff was attentive and friendly. Anthony is an amazing chef and the food was superb. Noella was most gracious event planner and very accommodating to all our needs. Our guests had nothing but praise and compliments on how beautiful the venue is. Our daughter says this was very much the wedding she dreamed of. Thank you Anthony and Noella for everything! We will support Dickens Prime for years to come!

The food was not good, not only did we wait for 45 min when the restaurant was empty I had hair in my food.

Big jump in quality with the new owner in March 2020. Have been in 3x and excellent every time. Seared Ahi is delicious and my wife LOVED her burger

Hands down the worst meal we’ve had in Longmont. The service was abysmal, the food orders were incorrect, and the actual food was not good. Tomatoes were white; soup tasted like pure salt; and pesto had no hint of green. Took over 30 min to get a drink. Server did not acknowledge any of this. Will not return.

They need more staff, everyone in the room had their coats on it was SO cold. The food was good, but that’s about it. Used to be a great place to watch bands.
