Jefe’s in Longmont is the kind of place that immediately pulls you in with its vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. The moment you walk in, the old-school hip hop playing in the background sets a nostalgic and fun tone. It's perfect for a casual night out or a laid-back dinner with friends.
The food here is truly standout. The chips and salsa are some of the best I’ve had. Crispy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The steak tacos are a must-try, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.
I tried the blueberry mojito cocktail, which was okay, refreshing, but not quite as memorable as the food.
Overall, Jefe’s is more than just a meal; it’s an experience. From the music to the flavors, it’s a spot I’d happily return to.
I wish they could ship their salsa to Alabama. ;) It was really THAT good!

Jefe's is the best! We hosted our wedding after party there and everyone loved it! Hannah made the process seamless, the second we walked in we had drinks in hand and apps on all the tables. We felt so special and had a blast!! Would definitely recommend!!

Jefe’s is hands down one of the best spots in town, and every time I stop by, they remind me why. The bartenders here are top-notch — genuinely awesome people who make you feel welcome right from the start. They’re always helpful, quick with service, and never fail to make great recommendations, whether it’s a drink you’ve never tried before or a menu item you might have overlooked. On top of that, they’re extremely personable, the kind of people you can actually have a conversation with while still keeping the bar flowing smoothly.
The food is just as impressive as the service. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, but the nachos deserve a special shout-out. They’re piled high, full of flavor, and easily some of the best you’ll find anywhere. Pair that with one of their Margaritas — which are absolute fire — and you’re in for a great night.
To top it all off, the vibe is unbeatable. Hip hop bangers set the tone, keeping the energy high and making the atmosphere fun and lively. Whether you’re grabbing food, drinks, or both, Jefe’s nails it every time. Highly recommend!

We've been regulars here for years. Hard to know what to even say. My wife and I love this place so much. One of our most important and sacred hang out spots. We've seen staff come and go, and subsequently come back, and they've always felt like family. Stu, Evans, Riley, Amanda, Hannah, Miguel - simply the best.

Food was delicious, service was friendly and quick! Would highly recommend!
Met with my family for lunch on a Friday. We decided to sit outside on the sidewalk patio because the interior was packed full and LOUD. All fine and dandy since our table was almost fully shaded so we were comfortable and could hear each other talk. We each got a soft corn taco and no one had a single complaint. Liked the option to get a 3x taco plate or just 1x etc..
It's a cute place with soma variety food selection. Their cocktail menu is cute and I like their jalapeno margg
Great tacos and great margaritas
Burgers are top shelf.

Tacos are top tier. Drinks are always kickin'. Service is always good. Probably my favorite place to get street tacos outside of Denver. Tacos are a little pricey, but very it. Biggest complaint is that there isn't alot of seating and during peak hours it gets BUSY. If you go, you'll understand. 4.5/5.
Tasty food. Consistently great service, especially at the bar. The Quadro Dip and Birria and Al Pastor tacos are my go-to!
The first time we went to Jefe's it was in 2023, our 19th wedding anniversary, and it was great! We had an assortment of tacos that were really good and everything was priced great also. We decided to return last night to celebrate my sister in law and a very good friends' Engagement. I figured that would be a good little taco spot to celebrate and we loved the vibe they had the last time we were there. They had 90's Rap and yummy tacos! The bartender was awesome! He suggested a really good tequila and the orange slices with the cinnamon agave glaze he suggested complimented it perfectly! Our server on the other hand though, was extremely rude. We don't go out often and when we had to deal with bad service, it basically solidified our reason for staying in and saving our money. It was not very loud in the restaurant and I literally had to yell my order out to him because he was trying to say he couldn't hear me. He had an attitude problem from the moment he walked up to our table. The atmosphere was good but homeboy kinda left a bad taste in our mouth! It felt like he didn't want to help with explaining the questions we had about the menu. He still managed to get my order wrong and when I told him it was wrong, he got visibly irritated that he had to correct it. His whole vibe was screaming that he didn't want to wait on our table. I've worked in the food industry as a server and on my worst day, you would think it was my best day! How you treat people matters!! A smile also goes a long way!! We ate the tacos had a couple of drinks and left right away. He killed the atmosphere and we most likely won't return or recommend it to others. 🤷🏻♀️
