The new location is great. Lots of seating, lots of new staff who are friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food continues to be outstanding--love Grandma's Green Chili Plate--and the cocktails are delicious. But please lose the loud music with the heavy bass. We can listen to Adele anywhere; would much prefer Mexican music in the background at a level that allows comfortable conversation.

Above anything the food was so good my wife had the beef chicken and shrimp fajitas and I had the burrito . If your looking for a shiek classy spot to go on a nice date or with friends this is the spot service was prompt and on point

Horrible food. Chicken flautas came out folded with little to no chicken. Service was less than stellar with the waiter continuously forgetting things. Not impressed and I won't be back.

We have been eating here for years and have always loved it. It has become very hit or miss though these days. We do take out at least twice a month here and today arrived home to find half of our food missing from the combo meals, no toppings for the supreme burritos, no chips and salsa. When I called to speak to them was put on hold and nobody ever returned to talk to me. Two visits ago we were entirely missing a meal and I had to drive all the way back to get it. We like to use the restaurant.com certificates but even with the discount it is easily $40 each visit. Today they didn't know how to apply the certificate. Thankfully the manager arrived after about 10 minutes and we were able to get it applied. A few visits ago I had accidentally left my bank card behind. When I went to retrieve it they had accidentally given it to another customer. I will say that they are always very nice people. I worked in the restaurant industry for 30 years and know things happen. Today though they were not very busy, I saw 5 servers/bus boys and so there was no reason they should have missed half of our order. Really hoping they can turn things back around as we have always enjoyed this restaurant.

I loved this place! A friend took us here while we were visiting her. I ordered the pollo a la crema and it was delicious! It was so much food! Chips and salsa to start is always delicious as well! Our friends ordered gummy bear margaritas and they loved them, but said they were a little light on the tequila.

Dropped $100 on a meal for 4 and the quality was worse than Taco Bell. Barbacoa burrito was filled with refried beans and very little meat. Kids taco was tasteless and taco shell was soggy. Chimichanga was not even remotely crisp. Everything was covered in excess sauce. La Mariposa quality has significantly decreased.

I had food delivered via DoorDash. The delivery was fast and professional; however, the food was sub par. The smothered barbacoa burrito's green chile was flavorless. The queso dip and chips were inedible. The chips had an off smell to them like they were fried in old oil and the queso was watery and bland (threw them away). What a bummer. I love Mexican food but this experience left me unsatisfied and frustrated.

Had Dinner11/7, our Anniversary. Food was great the service was great! Rubin was one of the nicest and best servers we have ever come across. Will definitely come back. We had the Tortilla soup and a Taco Salad. Excellent quality.

I came to enjoy dinner on Father’s Day all to be sitting her for 2 hours! I was sitting for about 45 mins before we were asked for our drink orders. 5 employees waited in the back and stared at us like we had something on our face. Our order was sent back 2 times! The waitress was extremely rude! I have heard many things about this place and I knew I should never have gave it a chance !
