One of my all time favorire breakfast places. The Colorado trout with poached eggs and grits is the best. Huge fresh bisquets will fill you up before breakfast arrives! Be sure to bring patience for the wait to be seated and take home some of the sauce.

Love the beignets! Others are typical brunch items, nothing special. Chicory coffee doesn’t taste a lot different than regular black coffee (there is a very subtle difference), but maybe a trained tastebud could tell.

Honestly, the guy who opened this place up with his recipes had to have known he was lying about what Cajun and creole food tastes like. I guess he thought he could get away with the lie since Louisiana is so far away. I used to work at an authentic Cajun restaurant in Memphis, and Lucille’s food does not taste anywhere near how it should. Everything needs seasoning, which is wild since that is what creole cuisine is centered around. I tried this place twice before making a review to make sure I didn’t come on an off day.The environment is super cute and fun.

Lucile’s is a lovely restaurant with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. However, despite the many positive aspects of Lucile’s, there is one area where the restaurant falls short - diversity among the staff. In today's multicultural society, it is important for businesses to reflect the diversity of their communities, and this includes having a staff that is representative of different backgrounds and experiences. Unfortunately, Lucile’s seems to be lacking in this aspect, with a noticeable lack of diversity among its employees.

It had been a long time since we were last at Luciles. They seemed pretty busy, but we had a table pretty quickly. Our conversations started with reminiscing about how great our food was when we were last there years ago. We were concerned that the food would not live up to our memories, but we not at all disappointed by our food when it came. So many great flavors and the staff was so friendly. We will definitely be coming back more frequently. Love this place!
