We got hit by a stench that smelled like urine..or it was a powerful cleaner. We should have left at that point. Mashed potatoes tasted like they were made with water, flavorless, tasteless food. The waitress was just there... won't be going back... overpriced, food was disappointing...Yuck factor...

Good food, great staff, and one of the better drink menus you're going to find. Love the European beer and food selection! Definitely will be back

It has a great neighborhood bar feel and the staff were very friendly. We paid $62 (!) for a beer, a soda, a soft pretzel, a bowl of clam chowder and the beef tips. The best part was the beer and the pretzel. The chowder tasted like sausage gravy and the beef tips tasted like brown gravy. I respect that it’s a Longmont institution and happy we tried it and will be back - but not for dinner.

Cheese curds were by far the high point!!! Chicken fried chicken was meh at best. Chicken pot pie was a radical disappointment of jar gravy and canned chicken with a brick of puff pastry on top.

They were slow waiting on us, the waitress apologized and said there was some confusion on who had our table(she was the only waitress at the time). The food was nothing special even though the restaurant claimed to be voted best food for a number of years.

Cool spot, friendly staff. The food on the other hand was ok at best. Had the prime rib special (asked for med rare, more on the rare side) and it came medium-no pink at all. Pork green chile, fish & chips was decent. Had better chicken fried chicken elsewhere.

Would come back for drinks and appetizers.

my food was ok, but my daughter had the chicken pot pie and absolutely loved it ... service was a tad slow, but there was only one young lady working the floor by herself, she seemed a bit stretched, she was amazing, she just needed some support

I really like this place. It has actual proper, and good hearty food, a cozy old world feeling, good beer and good service. You can't go wrong.

My husband was born and raised in Longmont and this was a place he frequented. Learned that the ownership has changed and has went downhill.
We were very disappointed with the food and management. Our server was wonderful but the manager on duty was unprofessional and seemed like he didn’t want our business. Rushed my 85 year old mother-in-law into ordering her food. Food was rushed and not good at all. After a 7 hour drive to visit family, we were hoping for a delicious meal and wonderful service. It’s a shame that the new management couldn’t keep it how it use to be. I’m only giving two stars because our server was wonderful. If it weren’t for him it would be a one star.

Been going to O’Shays for over 35 years and wanted to treat my wife and folks to a nice dinner. We got there about 8:40pm after traveling 500 miles. Figured we’d have plenty of time website shows closing is 10pm. Server was very friendly. My 85 year old mother is very cognitively sound, but wasn’t sure what she wanted. Took a few extra minutes until the manager approached and began pressuring her to choose something “with love.” We ordered by 9pm, plenty of time. Food arrived and was mediocre at best. The place hasn’t been the same since Mike sold it. Absolute shame We will NEVER BE BACK. Pump House here we come.
