This is one of my favorite places, and it pains me to give a poor review of the food, but it must be done. The Pumphouse used to have amazing meatloaf, but when I ordered it yesterday, instead of getting rich slices of ground beef, I got pre-formed beef-like shoe leather, with fake grill marks that were covered in a chemical-tasting sauce. I know margins on restaurants are thin, but there must be another place to conserve on expenses. So disappointing!

Everytime we passed this restaurant it’s packed-inside and outside. When we finally went in we knew why. They have a very large menu with something for everyone. Their beer selection is one of the biggest I’ve seen around. I’m not usually a burger person but I decided to take a chance and I’m glad I did. It wasn’t like a sloppy greasy burger. It was tender and delicious with so much flavor. The service was great and we’ve been back since that first time. I would highly recommend this place to bring out of town visitors too as the menu is so varied.

Only one down side. The gluten free menu is misleading and needs to be fixed asap. If the menu says available as is but is actually fried in a shared fryer then it’s not available as is. This can cause celiac issues. Better safe then sorry :)

Ive been coming to Pump house with my wife for years. We always get the same thing I get a french dip with onions, she gets a Cuban. every time we get these meals we are just raving at each other how good it is. Ive gotten other things here and there but 90% of the time we get the same thing, French dip and Cuban. We were there over the weekend and of course we get the same thing. But the Cuban wasn't made like it normally is. There wasn't pulled pork like normal, they had a flattened pork chop on it which was really nasty. it was not the same and my wife barely ate it, wish they would have told us because i feel like i wasted 20.00 (which is really expensive for a sandwich). We were really disappointed in the Pump house.
