I like the pharmacy and deli counter folks. The safeway app though … ugh. Total nightmare and dysfunctional. Honestly, shopping and transacting was much easier and less stressful without technology and apps. UPDATE: Telling a customer who complains about the app to go to the website is another way of saying, we don’t plan on fixing anything that isn’t working.

I have never been more offended in my life. Do you guys not do proper training or teach your employees how to look at cameras? You managers may want to revisit your training curriculum and adjust accordingly because approaching someone and accusing them of stealing when they've done nothing wrong based off of he said she said isn't going to stand up in court. Your company has cameras for a reason! Utilize them!!!!! I'm guessing what happened here is that I was profiled based on how I look and approached accused of stealing when I did nothing of the sort and Then followed out by several large male employees which I would say is intimidation and that makes it illegal. I will be contacting a lawyer.

The reason for my 5 stars isn’t the store or the items, they were out or low on everything ?, but for one if their checkers named NORMAN. He was as friendly, efficient and courteous. Thank you Norman keep up the great work!

Something is going on at this location. Over the past month, sale items are never stocked; WiFi in the store isn’t connected to internet but Cell service is jammed = no digital coupons or deals once you’re inside. They’d rather lose a sale than honor a sale price on a confusing ad item.
Today (Saturday before Labor Day) I went in for a cake. Grabbed some beers too. Got up front and there was only one cashier with 5 large full carts in line and several other people backed up sideways down the front aisle; self-checkout is backed up too with lots of red blinking lights. Surely they’re sending a backup checker. NOPE! No response to the surge whatsoever. I do not have time to wait around like this, and I especially don’t have time to wait around to give my money to a business that doesn’t seem to care if I spend it there or not.
So I set my stuff down and left very disappointed that these things keep happening at a store that was so much better just a few weeks ago.

Layla in the bakery did a phenomenal job on my kids birthday cakes. And people at the party said the cakes are the best tasting they have ever had! She went over and beyond on our cakes and I’m so thankful!!!! Very talented artistically ? she did exactly what we wanted.

Not sure what his name is, but the tall guy is RUDE. One of the night shift guys shouted "you've got 1 minute" when I walked in at 10:53. Like don't hassle me when I just go in for something quick, like please cálmate sir. That employee needs an attitude fix.

I like Safeway. Glad we still have a Safeway store in Longmont. I love their Deli and the self service hot food bar: great stuff on that bar. Also, pretty good bakery. Shoutout to Steven, the deli manager. He is awesome.
