I bought candy in bulk here yesterday and got about over pound. I wasn’t happy with the price at $17, but the woman behind the counter was really nice and made it $14 instead. The jawbreakers and ice cream were fine, but everything else was stale and hard to eat. I'm still feeling uncomfortable about the price of the candy as well.
I try not to leave negative reviews, but shouldn't an ice cream/candy store be child friendly? I think young adults could love this place, but I really don't appreciate the obscenities all over the products.
We were looking for a local soda fountain similar to Fitz in St. Louis. While Scrumptious does not have the many flavors and types of sodas Fitz has, it was okay, with a root beer float, and the candy selection is extensive. What I found missing was a recycling bin for their soda bottles; I saw many in the trash bin.
