Always a great experience all the way around from start to finish. Cocktails, food and service.

Sugarbeet is one of the rare area restaurants that combines interesting food with superb preparation, service and presentation. In addition, their bread alone is worth the trip, and the pre dinner cocktails are wonderful. I cannot get past the appetizers, all of which are stellar, but I have tasted the various seafood dishes and they are all superb. If you can, get Aminata as your server!

We chose Sugarbeet for our anniversary dinner. The host sat us in a quieter area and we appreciated that. The menu was complete and had many delectable choices. The service was polite, caring and our waiter offered good advice on selections. Overall a great experience and wonderful food.

Food was delicious! I had the Sea Bass which was cooked to perfection and my husband had the Pappardele with shrimp and it was very good too! The wine was good but there were not very many choices by the glass. Service was exceptional! Music was loud initially and when I asked if they could turn it down, they did so and then made sure that it was lowered to our satisfaction. The place is not inexpensive but a very nice place to go for fine dining and special occasions

First time at Sugarbeet. We were impressed with the food and service. Every dish was great. Our waiter was very attentive, and we liked him very much. The ambiance was understated, but acceptable. It was a pricey menu, but good for a special occasion. We'll be back again!

I have to compliment the wait staff. They were all very friendly and worked flawlessly. The inside is nicely decorated. The noise level was high but that was from the diners next to us. There was no kitchen or server noise. The view out the window is of railroad tracks, concrete bridge, and an auto repair garage. The sizzling shrimp appetizer was ok and didn't understand why they didn't remove the tails, The filet mignon was delicious. The bistro steak tasted like a chuck roast and didn't care for the sauce. The potatoes and green veggies were delicious. The portion sizes were satisfying. The apple puff pastry, chocolate cake, and key lime pie were all very good. Definitely the best fine dining in Longmont and will return.

Absolutely DIVINE! From beginnings to endings, every meal was perfectly balanced. The chef knows what he’s doing! The sea bass is to die for. Service is so friendly, they really make you feel like family. Hands down, the best…this is the Boulder areas hidden gem.

First off, the filet mignon here is one of the best we've ever had--and we've had many, from NYC top restaurants to LA's best digs. Order it! You won't be disappointed. It's not "just a steak." The sauce is delectable. It is cooked to perfection. Also...we're extremely impressed with and thankful to the responsiveness of SUGAR BEET. We mentioned to the manager that the menu did not reflect the food prep and presentation in a few cases, and lo and behold, the menu was updated in less than a week! These folks really care! The calamari is an excellent choice, too. The flavors are integrated something far more exciting and tasty than your average breaded rings. The sauce is fantastic. The rings are dusted with a forbidden rice flour, and it is just delicious. The service by the manager is far above average. The atmosphere is stately and calm, which is SO welcome, given all the trying-too-hard-to-impress ambiences in Boulder county. We look forward to our next meal here, for sure. Many thanks to the excellent service and care!

We had an excellent meal on Christmas Eve. We drove up from Arvada to meet a daughter and her husband who drove down from Berthoud. Our waitperson, Jennifer, was warm, gracious, and funny, even exchanging Dad jokes with me. The wine list was excellent and each of our main courses was superb. Thank you!
