Jess was a phenomenally attentive server without being overbearing. The food was wonderful.

Love this place! First time, celebrated our 18th anniversary. The food was great, and it came out with perfect timing. Never felt rushed, enjoyed our drinks, and enjoyed our bites. The oysters were a nice surprise, would go back for happy hour for those alone. The use of saffron was a nice change from the norm. The lamp rack plate was delicious. Same with the filet. Absolutely loved the flavors overall, and the sides really made the dishes spectacular. The calamari was different, but really grew on us and we were still talking about it the next day. Hadn’t been before and look forward to going back. Glad we found this place and the 4.7stars were legit👍

I see why it’s so popular and can be hard to get a reservation. It was spectacular. First time trying duck and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. Crispy and moist. I also had the beet salad and it was great. The cheese plate and calamari were also good. I was with three other people who cleared their plates. Worth the visit and will be back.

Wow, just wow. Traveling through town and ended up here after reading a ton of positive reviews. Expectations were high and the staff met every one of them. The presentation, pacing, food quality, and overall vibe were just steller. Can't wait to visit again down the road. Well done, Sugarbeet!

It was OK. Nothing special and certainly not deserving of the praise it receives. Calamari was grotesque.

This is an amazing dining experience! The menu and service is excellent. Sugarbeet is a must every time I visit Longmont from North Carolina. The presentation is almost too beautiful to eat but don't forget to enjoy every bite.

We phoned to make a reservation for three to celebrate the birthday of one of our party members, who is also hard of hearing. We requested a quiet location and table in the restaurant, as too much noise makes it very difficult for her to hear. We were told that it would be accommodated.

Not long after being seated, management seated a loud party of seven less than three feet from our table. We requested a move, but were told that no other tables were available. We spent the rest of our meal attempting to communicate, without success.

Our waitperson was inattentive and bordered on rude. To commemorate our birthday celebration, the restaurant provided a birthday candle stuck into a key lime pie that we paid for. Given the price of food at this restaurant, providing the pie at no cost would have been reasonable.

Needless to state, we will not return.

When reservations were made for a weeknight we requested a quiet location since one of our party is hard of hearing. We were assured the request would be accommodated. Not long after being seated, the management seated a loud 7 person party two feet from our table. We requested to be moved but were told there were no other tables available. The rest of our dinner

Romantic but casual, great date night. Food was unbelievable, can't believe we haven't been here sooner.

We asked for a quiet spot in our reservation due to a hearing impaired member our group. We were placed next to table set for six. Once they arrived we couldn't hear ourselves think, let alone carry on a conversation.

Fantastic service, food was great but I would have made some other culinary decisions personally. Looking forward to trying it again. I loved that they brought out sparkling wine for the birthday girl but maybe should have asked first as I am sober and hate waste. Great higher end date spot for couples though.

We love Sugarbeet! It feels a bit old fashioned inside, but that's part of the charm. Everything we had was delicious (mushroom bourekas and the elk scotch egg for apps, panzanella salad, steaks, sea bass, ravioli and cocktails). Service was very attentive and friendly too... 4 happy campers who will definitely be back.

Food and service were excellent. Need better lighting, as the dining area was simply too dark. The white wine section ws not very good, which is a change from previous visits.

My sister and I enjoyed dinner with our parents, and everything about the experience was wonderful. The food was exceptional—fresh, vibrant, savory, and truly mouthwatering, with perfectly paired flavors. The staff was attentive and welcoming, and the cozy, comfortable atmosphere made the evening even more enjoyable. This is a gem.
