Another great meal at Sugarbeet. Excellent service and a nice menu selection. We've never been disappointed. Highly recommend.
Excellent food every time I go, often with my husband or a friend, Versatile menu. Great wines by the glass. Lovely people who manage and serve. No matter whether dining alone, or with others. we are always treated especially well. Sugarbeet is the best restaurant in Boulder County.
We had an excellent meal and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. Food was truly elegant!
This is our favorite restaurant! The food is incredible! The specials are truly culinary inspirations and the regular menu isn't bad either. But the service and the way they make you feel at home is what really makes going back so much fun.
Exceptional “specials” with a fantastic regular menu. excellent wine selection with VERY knowledgable people to help select. Dinner paces at our desired level, which we wanted a bit slower to enjoy our conversation. Fabulous place with fabulous people! The best part is, we have a similar experience every time we dine there, it's so consistantly great!!!
We had the filet and ahi tuna with the sizzling shrimp appetizer. All were fabulous. Ari, Ben, Aminata and the whole team were wonderful as always!
Our experience at Sugarbeet was outstanding from the minute we walked in the door. After being seated in a quiet corner, we were surprised with complimentary flutes of champagne for our 25th wedding anniversary. Our server, Devon, was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu, which was helpful for my gluten-free spouse. The menu offered a nice variety of seasonal dishes that were reasonably priced. Our starters and entrées arriving at our table were not only well paced, this was one of a handful of times an entrée has EVER been placed in front of me hot. Everything we ordered: black tea old fashioned cocktail, soup, salad, pumpkin risotto, filet mignon, key lime pie, and chocolate truffle cake was fabulous. Our server's timing for checking in with us during our meal was just right, and I noticed and appreciated the other staff's subtle glances at our table to see if glasses of water needed topping off or dishes bussed. It had been a while since we were last at Sugarbeet, but this experience has made us want to return more often and not wait for a special occasion.
Had a fabulous anniversary dinner (our 52nd—thanks for asking) here last night. Our cocktails were delicious (a chilled toddy and a pear martini) and the sourdough bread was so, so good. We shared a beet and goat cheese panna cotta salad (note to self: ask for the panna cotta recipe), which was beautifully plated (plates for each of us—I was impressed) and perfectly dressed. Our entrees were the elote ravioli and the risotto with duck confit, both superbly cooked and seasoned. For desserts we had the key lime pie and chocolate truffle cake, yum! The service was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. And we were presented with two nice little glasses of prosecco with dessert, in honor of our celebration. This was our first time here, and I might have liked the ambiance to be a little quieter and more romantic, but we were seated at a quieter table and actually enjoyed the livelier atmosphere. We will be back and bring friends!
Sugarbeet was excellent last night. It s restaurant week and they had a prix fixe menu that was dynamite. My main course of a pumpkin risotto with duck confit was as good an entree as I could have anywhere. The pear martini was superior. We really love this restaurant.
Food was very good, staff was exceptional !! It had been a couple of years since we had been there and it was way better than we remembered.

It was a special occasion and they treated us to a glass of bubbly. It was a nice touch. Our waiter recommended a great wine. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
The best food in Boulder, Longmont and Niwot by far! Excellent value freshness! Sevice exceptional! Every aspect of our dining experience was wonderful! We await to go back & bring friends!
Our birthday dinner celebration included oysters on the half shell, sea bass, verlasso salmon and rack of lamb. We also ordered and were looking forward to the roasted beet and chèvre panne cotta salad to share. Oysters were delicious but sadly our server forgot to place the salad order. When entrees were delivered, we asked about the salad which he admitted he forgot to place the order. We cancelled the order. All entrees were good but not remarkable. The lamb was tasty and included 3 chops although they seemed smothered in butter. The two fish entrees were better, as the salmon was moist and delicious. Wine selection was nice. Noise level was moderate to loud. Sadly everyone in the restaurant seemed to know we were celebrating my brother's birthday but the server, who was pleasant and seemed distracted at times. . Mostly an enjoyable evening with some disappointments. I might give Sugarbeets another try sometime, but would think twice about celebrating a special occasion there.
Took my wife here for our anniversary. Reservations through Open Table was easy. Complimentary champagne was a nice touch. Atmosphere is wonderful for a quiet, romantic meal. Each staff member wished us well and the service overall is outstanding. Extensive wine offerings. Both the sea bass and filet mignon were melt in your mouth delicious. Chocolate truffle dessert is the perfect finish to a perfect meal.
