Had a fabulous anniversary dinner (our 52nd—thanks for asking) here last night. Our cocktails were delicious (a chilled toddy and a pear martini) and the sourdough bread was so, so good. We shared a beet and goat cheese panna cotta salad (note to self: ask for the panna cotta recipe), which was beautifully plated (plates for each of us—I was impressed) and perfectly dressed. Our entrees were the elote ravioli and the risotto with duck confit, both superbly cooked and seasoned....
Sugarbeet was excellent last night. It s restaurant week and they had a prix fixe menu that was dynamite. My main course of a pumpkin risotto with duck confit was as good an entree as I could have anywhere. The pear martini was superior. We really love this restaurant.
The best food in Boulder, Longmont and Niwot by far! Excellent value freshness! Sevice exceptional! Every aspect of our dining experience was wonderful! We await to go back & bring friends!
