I have to admit, I was a little hesitant about sushi in Colorado. I made a reservation for Fathers Day and it was packed! The food was fantastic and the servicwas just as good. We’ve gone back since and had nothing but a great experience.

After the hostess forgot to tell my waitress that she was going to wait on me, things got better. Serena was my waitress and she was great: friendly, attentive and fast. The udon noodles with chicken was fine, tho the chicken was overcooked, dry and tasteless. The rest was good.

I loved it all!!!! My friend and I went out to eat for my birthday day and started with calamari and jalapeño bombs. For entree we got hot girl and volcano roll and I liked them both but really did love the volcano roll. To finish we got the ninja fruit roll and it turned out to be so amazing that I crave it and think about it often. This dessert roll is soft, crunchy, and full of flavor!!!Will be returning.

Always great food and the staff is always courteous. Sushi is great. Half of the family orders sushi and the other half hibachi and we have never been disappointed with any option.

Sumo in Longmont is a solid spot for sushi.

The place is always clean, the service is friendly and fast, and the sushi is consistently good.
we've been coming here for the past 3 years and it's reliable. They’ve got a full bar and even Japanese sodas, which the kids love.

Prices can be a bit on the higher side for dinner, but their lunch specials are super reasonable and worth it.

Definitely one of our go-to places in town.

This place has never let us down: we’ve come here for birthdays, Father’s Day, and date nights. The appetizers are great and filling. The sushi rolls are wonderful. And my kids love their bento boxes. This place checks all of the boxes for us.

They also do little extra touches like birthday celebrations, and my kids always leave with a special balloon. Happy kids; happy parents. These things are appreciated.

My only note is that sushi can take awhile on busy nights and we often wait a pretty long time. We honestly just factor that into the evening and it generally doesn’t bother us. It’s a nice family night out.

Highly recommend.

I've now eaten takeout here a number of times and my wife and I love the hibachi. I also am a huge fan of the lunch bento box. I think this is becoming one of our new favorite spots!

Great atmosphere. Lousy food made with cheap ingredients. Very expensive (I’m the opposite of poor), and small portions. I’d skip this place and go elsewhere. Just wasn’t anything much better than a mall food court. Great service though!!
