I had the fajitas al camaron, which the rice and beans were great. The shrimp, peppers, and onions I enjoyed but it was under seasoned for my taste. They gave a green sauce which was delicious, but they gave a tiny little container which was not enough. The person who checked us out spoke solely Spanish so it was a little difficult to understand. Our waiter was nice though and spoke some English. It definitely felt like authentic Mexican food which was good.

Came to try the menudo to go on a Sunday morning while working on my car. Staff was very friendly and helpful, soup was great!

I will definitely come back and try some of the other offerings.

Thanks!

I have been coming here for years and the Pozole is my favorite! Food is always yummy! The owner and his very Hardworking staff treat you like family! Love this place ❤️

Online menu was inaccurate. In-store menu on the wall had no price. When asked, most items were at premium price (fajita $22) which didn't match a small simple restaurant profile where the restroom was outside, like an old gas station.

Nice comfy Mexican food place - great outdoor seating. I got a torta and while the insides were good, I was disappointed by the quality of bread used.

Great basic Mexican food. The carne asada is well seasoned, they use two tortillas per taco which are delicious, and the atmosphere is what you'd expect at a local street taco shop. Plenty of parking.

The best asada tacos I've found in town. Sooo good.

Great authentic Mexican food! We got an asada burrito and pastor tacos which were amazing. Service was super friendly and the hot sauce was hot. 100% will be coming back.

Waited 20 minutes for 3 burritos ($25 w/ tip) which is crazy. I ordered one smothered chorizo burrito and the young girl at the counter immediately said “okay so you want one chorizo breakfast burrito smothered?” so I had to repeat myself and say “No, one regular smothered burrito with chorizo as the meat”. Then I ordered 1 ham & cheese breakfast burrito and 1 chorizo breakfast burrito. She repeated my full order to me correctly and I paid (side annoyance, the POS system is in Spanish so I’m like how do I put in my own tip???). I got home and I received a smothered chorizo breakfast burrito and a regular chorizo burrito 🤦‍♂️. The regular chorizo burrito had rice in it and was dry so I didn’t eat it. Normally there is a language barrier here so I give them some grace but this cashier spoke perfect english. This is why Danny’s Tacos on Hover and 17th gets my money (closed today though only on Sundays) and their ticket time on burritos is no joke under 5 minutes. Better and bigger chorizo breakfast burrito too (and cheaper). Do yourself a favor and skip Tacos Al Molcajete - literally dozens of other Mexican places in Longmont with better service and ticket time. P.S. everything is spicy so don’t even go there if you only like mild.
