Any place that has a menu specifically for my dog is an automatic 5 star, but that the food and service was very good is just another reason.

Interesting little diner style restaurant. However, access is difficult if anyone in your group uses a wheelchair or a walker. The exterior sidewalk does not have a wheelchair incline. This made access for our 92 year old guest very difficult.

Wheelchair accessibility: Difficult due to lack of incline.

I’ve been a regular and usually come on the weekends. Service is 10/10 and the wait staff is incredible. However, the last few weeks I’ve come here, I’ve either had my food undercooked or burned.I’ve had it happen where I took food home and hash brown were black on one side, and raw on the other and had egg shells in my eggs. Or today, when I got the order, and checked it and asked for crispy hash browns they came out nearly raw. And the pancake was not even cooked/was doughy. I sent it back and they deep-dried the hash brown completely and sent back a burnt pancake… They eventually got it but I was at the restaurant for 25 minutes and now I look like a ‘Karen.’I’m not sure what’s up with the kitchen staff at this location, but the last few weeks have made me not want to come here anymore, so I’m not.

I had a veggie scramble and the veggies were cold and the moisture from the scramble was like cold brown water soaking the bottom of the plate. The hash browns were way undercooked. Also we weren’t offered a kids menu and were told we couldn’t sit in a shaded section because that server already had four tables. That would have been totally understandable except they sat us right next to that table with a curtained area that blew over water and got in food and was difficult to manage. Overall it was just a really negative experience.

Horrible. Service is a total joke and food is not what it once was. Cold and tasteless. If you enjoy the Garden Gate Cafe, please save yourself and drive to the Niwot location. They have it very much so figured out

It was delicious until we all got food poisoning. Do NOT EAT the carnitas. What a brutal night we all had. Shame on you for serving us bad pork. Home the food inspectors come today. Give you a little taste of your own

The Chilli relleno's In my brekfast were soggy and tasted weird. Nothing like you would get at a traditional Mexican restaurant. Couldn't eat them. Also very pricey! 3.25 for a cup of coffee!
