Good place to stop at on the motorcycle. Great sandwiches. Nice tree canopy surrounding the town of Hygiene. That looks good in the fall.

It's all good here and local. Worth the drive to Hygene. For those of us who were young in the 70s this place has that authentic corner store feel in a small.farming town. Organic, vegan, local meats, gf bake goods, homemade chili & stew, corner store local pkg goods...!
Vegetarian options: Soup. There are other selections as well. On any given day you can eat here if your a vegetarian.
Dietary restrictions: GF all - pies, bread, cookies, etc. Vegan some - great veg soop! Local meats in the case and freezer. Local products. Packaged goods - chips, nuts etc. Coffee - dairy free milk. Hot chili and soup made in store. A local experience and vibe you just can't beat.
Parking: If you are going for lunch get there b4 1135am bc parking will be limited until ab 1pm. They get busy so b patient - good things worth waiting for!

This is my spot! I'm there at least once a week. The banana chocolate chip bread is a staple for me. Especially when paired with coffee.

Great gluten free sandwiches and breads! I love their gf focaccia bread and that they carry local Buckner Family Farm meats.

We love this local spot for their sandwiches, ice cream, and drinks. They have a lovely grassy area to hang out. It’s a great spot for families!

We spend a lot of time in the area and came to check out this establishment on the recommendation of a dear friend. The store was quaint and had an interesting history. We were excited to check out the gluten free bakery, deli, local meats and unique drinks, products and gifts. However, the cycling crowd was disrespectful, if they felt you were not part of “their” crowd. If you were without a cycling Jersey, you were dismissed.I was practically trampled on multiple occasions while walking with a cane (as I’m nursing an injury) throughout the store. Others in my family had the same experience. One gal running the registers was polite and kind. When we asked questions about products and about placing an order, we were met with a rude, disrespectful and gossipy demeanor that lacked any form of customer service. Sadly, we won’t go out of our way to try Mountain Fountain again. As a local, there are plenty of other great places (stores and cafes/deli’s) that have much better customer service and a welcoming atmosphere!! Unfortunately a huge disappointment!

I really love this place. I've only been here once because I live quite far away but my mom shops here all the time and brings me meats and other products from their selections. The one time I was here, I loved the vibe and it seems really friendly. The meat products are absolutely incredible as well as the pies. Wonderful sausage selection and it all seems to be locally sourced and home made. I hope to return soon.
Vegetarian options: Some veggie pies and quiche options
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crust options on some pies
Parking: Small lot and street parking. Sometimes can get crowded but usually not too bad.
Kid-friendliness: Kind colorful atmosphere, very homey.
Wheelchair accessibility: Typical door widths and ramps for wheelchairs.

What an absolutely wonderful market! I met another rider here and arrived early so I could get some coffee. The coffee is absolutely delicious! We hung out at one of the inside tables and enjoyed our coffee. The market offers all types of local goodies and although I live in Denver, it's worth the one hour drive up to this place to hang out and by the local offerings. The staff is very friendly and the service is great.

Beware! The cashier added gratuity without my consent. I bought goat cheese and crackers. Total, rounded up and with tax, was $18. Charged $20.45. Goat cheese was delicious.
