Visited this restaurant based on a referral from a new friend I met while visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park. My group ordered Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes, a Chicken Sandwich paired with Fries, and a Ceaser Salad. According to my group, the meatloaf tasted okay however, for the price they paid, they wish they had received another side with their meal. The fries were cold, greasy, and limp (view photo). Additionally, the only thing good about the chicken sandwich was the bun. There was barely any lettuce on my Caesar salad. I paid for extra Parmesan cheese. The lettuce that was underneath the cheese was brown (view photo). For these items, we paid over $65.00+ tax. The customer service was friendly enough. We just wish the quality of food matched the expensive price tag. After reading some of the reviews, we were really looking forward to having a good meal.

The Post is one of those spots you just can’t go wrong with. Their chicken? Flat-out awesome. Crispy, juicy, packed with flavor — exactly what fried chicken should be. Honestly, it’s worth the trip on its own, but the rest of the menu holds its own too. Everything I’ve had there has been legit, no corners cut, just great food done right.
Drinks? Always on point. Their tap list is stacked with solid choices, and they keep it fresh. Whether you’re grabbing a cold beer to go with the chicken or just hanging out with friends, you know you’re going to get something good every single time.
What I like most is the consistency. The Post doesn’t miss. The food’s always hot, the drinks are always dialed in, and the vibe is always good. It’s laid-back, comfortable, and feels like the kind of place you can make a regular hangout.
Bottom line — if you’re in Longmont and craving fried chicken that actually delivers, grab a seat at The Post. Good food, good drinks, and good people. That’s all you really need.

Liz was our server she was fantastic, thanks! And of course the fried chicken was wonderful!
Food was good as always. The outdoor seating is good for little ones as there is a sturdy fenced in area to keep them contained from running off without you.
Pretty good spot. Food was good. Service was fine.

Probably the best meat loaf I have ever had. Great flavor and classic red sauce. Ordered it with Mac and cheese and a cheesy biscuit. Really hit the spot. The GM Renee was very friendly and came by to visit with us later.
Recently tried this place for the first time. Its a great place and would definitely recommend to anyone! Our server Teresa B was just amazing and friendly. We were very happy with our service, and will definitely be returning soon!

Fried chicken is their specialty but they also offer hearty salads, burgers and more. All around delicious and plenty of GF offerings - even fried chicken and fries. It's a brewery too!
My new obsession! Gluten free fried chicken?! Such good food, everything we’ve ordered

Jason and Jeva were amazing tonight. We are new in town and originally headed to a large chain restaurant when we decided to stop here instead. Best decision ever. We are regulars in training now! Thank you for the hospitality:)

The best place for chicken and waffles, and also try the thigh fries. Our family has dined here for 8 years and we have always had a great experience. I recommend both take out and dining in.
I once ordered from Boulder by mistake after flying home. I have to say, both places were so nice about it and I appreciate how great the service is at their restaurants.

We had dinner at The Post on Hover last night and the service was exceptional. I felt the host and my waiter anticipated our needs and were there to serve us. The man who was hosting was what really made it shine. We will be back.
