We recently started trying this place out after finding it by accident... the location is an area we don't visit frequently. Initially we had good experiences but lately I've noticed lunch on weekends is not the time to go! I like the Moe Joe Bowl but at lunch this past Saturday it was soaked in sauce and came with one cube of chicken. ONE! I should've taken a photo. It was dead in the restaurant too but maybe they were swamped with to go orders, I'm not sure what the reason was but it was disappointing. I will say the sushi and anything else we order on our Friday night date nights is awesome! Love the poke roll and the price is good. As far as atmosphere, we usually do take out because when we eat in it just seems like the tables are sticky. I watch them clean them but for some reason they stay sticky so maybe management can take a look at that.

Me and a few friends went in early July and were SUPRISED. We all got served super-FAST and it was even during a lunch rush. Food was amazing and I recommend the Bah-Mi bowl thingy. Staff was nice and hard at work.

Whoever has taken over veggie cutting is killing it! I love the uniform and consist cuts. There was a period of time that sucked because there is nothing worse then getting huge pieces of raw jalapeño in my bites.

Great, flavorful food at a good price. I really like the options they give you, especially with all of the different proteins and sauces. The new fire crunch sushi roll is BOMB! I will definitely be back.

Found crab meat in my tuna poke bowl. Husband is severely allergic. Mixed in well so I believe it was in the rice and the worker didn’t notice or was too lazy to pull it. Be careful!
The sushi 🍣 was really good. The Thai noodle bowl was so spicy I couldn't eat it. The house beverages were very tasty also

We've been going to Tokyo Joe's for years. I used to work there even. It's sad to see the decline in both quality and care over the last several years. With the menu drifting further and further away from the original ideas we're probably not coming back again. The newest iteration is terrible.

Staff is always friendly when I come in. The space is a bit older but still clean and well kept (except for the women's bathroom. The door sticks. I always feel like I'm never going to get that door open and I'll be trapped in there forever 😂). So far the quality of food has been consistent and fresh. I don't know if it is the store or Tokyo Joe's in general, but their iced tea is very weak which is why I took a star off my review. I have had a few takeout orders. The food has been ready on time. When I asked if they would pack the sushi in a separate bag from the hot foods, they didn't complain or grumble. This is my go-to Tokyo Joe's.
