Came here on Thu late morning and sat at the bar. Loved the vibe - very diner! We had the chicken fried steak sandwich and the huevos rancheros. Both were fast to arrive and delicious. Plates were clean in no time. Coffee was perfect and really hit the spot. I strongly recommend Bob’s Diner.

Bob's Diner had a good, lively atmosphere and judging by neighboring table a local's favorite spot. Lunch was busy with medium speed service which is probably understandable. The food was moderately priced and somewhat under seasoned but decent. Parking was pretty full but walking about a block offered more spaces on the street.

I really didn’t want to leave this review, as I’ve been a long time customer. We live in Louisville and have always enjoyed going to Bob’s (almost exclusively during the week). Last weekend we were there and it was a packed day. We arrived a little past 9am in a party of 3. We each had a full meal and drinks. At exactly 9:57 we were asked to leave because there was a wait outside. I was shocked, as we hadn’t even been there for 1h. If you want fast food type of breakfast Bobs is great. But if you want to sit down and chat and enjoy your meal don’t bother. Their expectation is that you sit down, shove down the food, and get out. Very disappointing. They made it look like we ordered 1 coffee and hung out for 3hs which was not at all the case.
