I used to live in Thailand and can say confidently that all the food is truly mid. I keep coming back hoping to discover something I like but Iâve never left feeling impressed. I think Thai restaurant down the street is much much better (at a few dishes) though itâs general hard to find good Thai food in Colorado.
This last visit, I got this mango sticky to go and was shocked at the portion. This was $9. For less money I literally got double this portion from the aforementioned Thai place a few days ago. I understand rising costs and extra expense of to go containers but it just feels bad as a customer to feel like youâre getting ripped off. If the food was incredible I might keep it in my rotation ad a treat but between all of these factors I am officially giving up Busaba.

I placed an order around 4pm for a 7pm pick up and received an email receipt. We showed up to an empty, closed restaurant - no email or any communication indicating the order was cancelled. We called the Boulder location, which said there âmight be a kitchen problem,â but it seems completely unreasonable (and unbelievable) that they canât cancel pre-orders and notify people their orders wonât be available. Infuriating.

i retract my years-old review. There was a time with a nice little owner lady running the ship. Now there's 16 busaba restaurants and they all just kind of suck.
If you wanna make your money selling drinks on Pearl st... go do that.
