Kind service. Low quality food. 5 Eggs were over cooked and 2 eggs were under cooked. Potatoes were over cooked. Pork chop was tough. French toast was over cooked on edges. Onion rings tasted like they had sugar in them. Hamburger was average. Cappuccino was awful. Mimosa’s were average. Won’t go back.

Based on the name of this place, I wrongly assumed that the food here would all be housemade. Since they had a Ruben on the menu, I assumed that the corned beef hash would be a good option but it was from a can and awful. My partner got the regular eggs Benedict and the eggs were cooked well but the hollandaise was clearly from a packet or can. The cinnamon roll was good though and the only part of our meal that seemed like it could be house made.

Ok so this places should be called out of a freezer or canned cooking. Nothing is homemade from scratch. They have these hash brown pieces I swear to God they don’t have a potato in the place. They’re bringing them in frozen and it’s the same for everything else. It’s popular with the old folks in town because their taste buds don’t work anymore and they want something that’s familiar to them, but that’s it if you’re visiting your grandparent and they recommend going here just make them an honest to God meal the kitchenette they have I promise you you won’t regret saving the money and staying home.

We've eaten at Home Cookin Cafe in Arvada several times before. Both serve exceptional comfort food with a contemporary tasty twist. Lewisville being closer, will now be our breakfast restaurant of choice. Knowing how good their breakfast menu is, we are looking forward to having lunch there in the future. If you have a hankering for great food at a reasonable price, then check out Home Cookin Cafe. You will not be glad you did.

Food wise, their cinnamon roll was what made this place worth it for me. That was perfect.

Unfortunately their breakfast burrito with the sausage and the sausage gravy was terrible! No seasoning and no flavor. I had to put a ton of salt, pepper, and hot sauce on it. I ended up just eating the eggs and some sausage out of it. I wouldn’t recommend it and I wouldn’t go back.

The place is like a small diner feel and the pace of the employees reflect that as well, so if you’re in a hurry that’s not the place either.

Got takeout but the atmosphere seemed nice and true to the name. Good food at decent price points for breakfast in the area. Enjoyed my meal!

We came up to Boulder for some errands and decided to stop for breakfast. This is a nice cozy place. The family were all very nice and helpful. The food was very good and had good portion sizes. Great value for the money. We were able to walk in and get a table right away on Saturday morning, which is always nice!
