Izzio Bakery is a can’t miss in downtown Denver. Hands down the BEST Carrot cake.
The cake was dense and moist. Perfect bits of pineapple, carrot and nuts all through out. Spiced to perfection. I can’t even begin to describe the crispy, caramelized edges that pair perfectly with the most amazing cream cheese icing. This icing deserves an award as it is the smoothest, creamiest I have ever had. No powdery aftertaste and the perfect balance of tang and sweet. Do yourself a favor...
Heads up! This location is CORPORATE office and bakery staff ONLY. There is no store front here. All products are sold exclusively through supermarkets.4 stars to corporate staff for answering my questions and being very kind and friendly. One star removed to the staffer who looked at me like I was out of my mind for attempting to access the building through the front door marked "pull to open door"
Was near by and looked up a bakery the pictures make it look like they sell pastries at this address but they don't so don't go to this address!! they were very friendly and let me know they don't but the picture are super deceiving as it shows a display case and everything.
