I came in the day after a power outage to get jelly donuts for hannukah. Since they didn’t have power until morning, they didn’t have donuts yet. The pastry chef Jonathan made an extra effort to get them done ahead of the other things he was making so he could make hannukah happen. And when I went to pick them up, he had given me 2 extra of my favorite kind and even decorated them in hannukah themes. With all the antisemitism going around, this experience literally made me cry. I’m so grateful and want everyone to know how lovely the folks are who work there.

$40 for a dozen plain glazed donuts...yikes

Over $17 for half dozen donuts. I expect to pay more at a donut shop but not $17 for 6 donuts. Supposedly they were bought by a corporation. Employee was polite, helpful and courteous.

Stopped in for half a dozen standard doughnuts. Prices have shot up since my last visit. $18 for half a dozen doughnuts? $28 for a dozen?

Ridiculous prices…honestly 4.50 to 7.50 for a donut is simply criminal. It used to be reasonable but corporate seems to have swooped in and jacked things up to a plain greedy level. Sad because I really love the staff and the donuts. I miss being able to get a box of donuts for my team at work, now I need to hit the lotto to do so… $40 for a dozen regular donuts... *sigh*

A few months back I got a cup of coffee here, and I promised myself I would never do that again. I failed to follow my advice and got a cup this morning and it’s undrinkable. It tastes like it was brewed last week, and then subjected to a humiliation ritual. This time it’s gonna stick.

Love LaMar's and I've been going to this location for over a decade. If you just want a damn good donut, the come to LaMar's.
