I love this place so much. I only wish the inside was a little more accessible for me. As I walk with a cane or walking poles, it can be challenging to navigate the small space. The food and coffee is delicious though.

An update to my generic, no description 5* review a la 2018. The very first morning I spent in Colorado in 2016/7 was highlighted by a visit to Moxie Bread Co. So much so that the iced latte, cinnamon roll and kouign amann live vividly in my head close to 10 years later.
Located in old town Louisville (the best Colorado small town) at the crossing of Main & Pine. Perch up on the patio early and observe the town spring to life. Cyclists, walker & runners, pooches and pups. Spend enough time here and you will become a part of the community. Show up here as a tourist and be welcomed as if you just moved in upstairs.
The baked goods are second to none and the espresso/coffee drinks bring me to life. Moxie is a MUST visit when nearby...scratch that...Moxie is worth the drive from most anywhere on the front range. A perfect spot to spend a morning as a townie or a visitor. I have brought every friend & family member that visited me in CO to Moxie during their stay.
There is a lot to the story of Moxie, but just know that they deserve your visit, your love and dollars and finally your sustained support. Such a delight seeing the expansion and growth of Moxie over the years starting out of this little house in Louisville.

Tried to order breakfast for my team and after waiting a half hour for my pickup time I was told they hadn’t prepared the order because they thought I was playing around? Then told me I had to pay over the phone and then they would prepare the order. If payment was required before, why wasn’t it requested the first time. Taylor seemed to be the ring leader of this circus. I was hung up on and denied service for no reason. B.o.b. diner saved the day and prepared a meal for my team within 15 minutes. Overall unpleasant experience and I’ll take my orders for my team in the future elsewhere.
Yo these are knowledgeable and informative and have hands down the best freshly milled flour this side of the Rockies if you bake your own bread get with these guys, and don’t forget to ask for a sourdough starter!
