Had a really great dinner at Mt. Fuji tonight. Our chef Tommy was awesome and very fun and engaging. Reason for the review though is that the food was truly excellent. Well flavored. Well cooked. Fantastic all around. Our two young kids had so much fun. We had a great evening all around. Highly recommend!

Our family had reservations for a table of six at 6 PM. We called ahead and confirmed these reservations under Alex. We drove 45 minutes from out of town with our four young children for a family celebration. Once we arrived at the restaurant, we were then told that we could sit and wait for at least 30 minutes before a hibachi table was available. The sole reason that we came to the restaurant was for hibachi and we were not able to wait another 30 or more minutes with our hungry children, all elementary age, aged and younger. They knew that they were running behind and never gave us a call ahead of time to let us know that our reservation would be delayed-it was poor management. We were really excited for this food but so disappointed. From our experience, do not go with young children, even if you have a reservation.

Very vegan friendly! They actually have vegan butter for hibachi. The staff was super knowledgeable about allergies/dietary preferences. We had a fantastic time for my friend's birthday, split checks, entertained us and truly made our night. Thanks Tommy and Maria! Fantastic service 💗

Maria and Tommy took great care of our large party for my friends birthday. My partner and I are vegan and they were incredibly accommodating and ensured we were able to enjoy a fully vegan hibachi. 10/10 will return.

We really like Mt Hibachi’s food and service and have had good experiences with their chefs. Tonight though, it was made very clear to us after our two families sat down for dinner that we were expected to be out within one hour of our reservation! Getting seated, ordering, and eating/drinking a full dinner within the one hour window that our table was apparently reserved for felt really rushed, unprofessional, and detracted from the experience greatly. Clearing plates and drinks that we were still enjoying and dropping boxes on the table while we were still eating was bad form. We even ordered an extra entree at the outset at the urging of our server and a second round of drinks when asked. As a server in a pervious life, we were in no way lounging at our table after dinner but still actively eating/drinking- and our kids were incredibly well behaved.
I’m unclear if this has always been the policy because we have never had an overtly bad experience there nor told/felt as though we need to have a full hibachi experience in 45 minutes, but tonight made us not want to come back for dinner in the future. Maybe giving reservations 90 minutes as opposed to 60 would make a lot more sense, especially given the cost and whole idea of hibachi. I would urge the management to rethink whatever changes they have made recently in regards to this.

Service was extremely accommodating for my daughter. Food was delicious. We went for my wife’s birthday and they sang, brought out a mascot, and had a very small dessert.

The lunch box specials are a great deal. You get a lot of fresh food for a reasonable price. Enough food for at least two meals. I love the sweet miso dressing used for the salad. Sushi is fresh and tasty. The miso soup is flavorful. I enjoy the food options.

Best hibachi in Colorado! Highly recommend you ask for Pancho the chef. He took great care of me and my friends as it was our first time trying Mt Fuji. The quality of the food and service was amazing from Pancho. Definitely coming back more often, worth the drive no matter where you come from. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. Go check them out if you haven’t yet, you’re missing out!
