I wouldn’t know if the food was any good I went in on a Saturday and was handed the wrong menu , evening menu so then they gave me the correct menu. But in the 20 minutes I sat there nobody got us a drink or spoke to us , the other 4 groups I did notice got served right away. I never said anything rude or was even mad but the rest of my group was ready to leave .So we didn’t say anything and didn’t want become ( those people ) we just left time was 1:26 pm Saturday April 13th 2024 .

This place is great. Wonderful service, nice atmosphere, and the food is mostly good. Today, I and one of my party each tried the “Deep Dish Chi Pie”, and it was really disappointing. This was not the deep dish kind of pizza I was anticipating. I’m trying to pin down everything that I didn’t like about it, but the stand out issues were: the crust was very tough and was stuck to the skillet it was served in, there was not much sauce as there is usually with a real Chicago deep dish, and the additional meat toppings were just thrown on top instead of actually being baked in.All in all, great place to eat, but I hope ownership sees this and tries to revamp their deep dish, because right now it is just not that great.

I really like this quaint spot. Menu changes often so there is always something new. Sat at the bar with my husband on this visit. Cheyene was our bartender and very friendly. Drinks were good and she had excellent menu suggestions. The Sidewinder Fries are soooo good! Light and crispy and soft on the inside. I’m looking forward to returning and trying the Prime Rib! This will be one of our regular spots for sure!

My family and I have been to AKA several times now and they never disappoint! Their food is amazing (highly recommend their pretzels and fries)-- we've tried quite a few things off the menu and there wasn't one item we haven't liked! I love that they locally source food and condiments and it's just a fun place to dine as a group! Make sure you try out some of their house-brewed beer too!
