Don't waste your time. Beers $8.00 kitchen closed at 9:15 even though they claim they are open till 10:00, just lazy.

When we moved here, we heard good things about this place. I hate to say how long it took us to stop in... I'm glad we did! Jordan & the crew here are great & we will definitely be back again. (The pizza & apothecary-style beers are fantastic, by the way!) What a great end to an amazing day!

Kiiiiiing Chaga! So yum. Great experience. We had several flights, pretzels and a wonderful afternoon. Jordan was a great beertender and took good care of our group!

The beer was just "okay." The veggie pizza was DELICIOUS. The bartender was overwhelmed as he was the only one, with a full house. He did a great job with what he had.

I eat here about once a month and have always had a good experience. The pizza is really good. Beers are delicious. Service is fast and friendly. Atmosphere is warm and comfortable.

This place is awesome! Great menu and selection-even have cocktails upstairs! Jordan made me the best Old Fashioned I've ever had.... everything about Berthoud is perfection.

I had two negative experiences here this week. I came back a second time to give them another shot. I’ll just mention the last one. I got BLT pizza, had sprinkles of lettuce and bacon on 3:8 pieces. Other wise cheese bread with mayo on it is what I got.

I waited 40min+ for the pizza. I was the ONLY customer and employees doing everything but cook my pizza. The other customers were just chilling. Not adding tasks to employees, not ordering drinks and they were done eating.

After 30 minutes I noticed how long it had been and asked, i was met with “sorry we got delayed”

With what? Sweeping the floors behind no customers?

I got my pizza about 10minutes later and got another apology. With a hand on my shoulder. Don’t touch people either. And maybe next time have a valid excuse or give a fricken soda at the very least.

Pizza tasted good and had a good chance, but All 3 I tried in the 2 visits, none were cooked enough. I was warned of this exact issue too so it’s often an issue I assume if 3/3 of mine were undercooked.

I sat on this review for two nights due to feeling bad it’s a small local business. Unfortunately I gave the second chance and just was not impressed how my pizza delay was handled. Over 40min for ONE pizza when they had ZERO other things they were actually doing. Zero other customers aside from at my 40min mark someone ordered beer to go... they were playing on phones and mangers/owners assuming sitting at bar talking about business.

I was there Tuesday around 2:30 until 315. Tall Girl was in kitchen doodling around doing anything but cooking and shorter muscled man was manning the bar. Aka sitting on phone with no customers not wondering why I was still sitting there after half hour?

Maybe a refund for my pizza should have been thought about after 30 minutes let alone when I finally got it.

I was originally told 15 minutes. I walked in at 10, was told “I’ll check that” And comes immediately back and he says “oh just a few minutes left” what a joke.

Wings were unreal. 10/10 smoked wings which is very rare to find. Love the uniqueness vs regular fried wings. The amber ale w mushrooms was oddly fantastic

Great first experience here! Came in on a Sunday afternoon to do some work and have lunch. The beer is diverse and delicious. I had the Coffee Scottish, Green Chile Blond, and the Cherry Bomb, and I’d have them all again. Bartender Jordan was solid, attentive, quick on his feet, great conversationalist, and made me feel welcome to town. He’s only been there a couple months but it felt like he was a manager — on top of the flow of customers, regulars, and doing little menu tours. Always good to see in a restaurant brewery.

I rarely eat pizza but I ordered their Colorado Supreme – and it was phenomenal. 100% recommend. I can tell this place cares about the quality of its ingredients, service, and the physical space.

Maybe not the first thing people think of in a brewery, but they have great wi-if — which makes it a place I can come to work when I’m done with a coffee shop! Just moved to town, and will definitely make this a new spot.

Great community

This is my equivalent of Cheers. I love the people and I love the beer. I don’t think you can get a better Scottish Ale. The brewer princess is extraordinary. The food is delicious (wings and wedge salad in particular). The staff are top shelf, and the owner is absolutely genuine. I keep coming back for everything Berthoud Brewing delivers.

Love the beers. The owner is amazing. My main bartenders I see are Molly and Jordan.
