The four scallops at $43 a plate came out burned! After sending the plate back Shannon, Assistant Manager, tried not only to bully us into paying for their overpriced ashen garbage of a meal, but also to make US feel guilty for refusing overcooked food. The cook (NOT chef) needs to have their eyes checked. These charcoal briquettes of a scallop shape never should have seen a plate at all. Then! Yay! The Manager then came out and was so slapstick sarcastic in his apology, he looked like a Jim Carrey impression. It was grossly ingenuine and unprofessional. Rather than apologize and compensate the bill, we were accused of rudeness for refusing said charred scallops. We were told that it was our fault that the runner who tried to deliver them supposedly cried when we sent them back to the kitchen.Pretty sure that the kid cried because he hates working for this clown management team.

We came for happy hour and shared a margarita pizza and a salmon dip dish. They were both delicious! Their old fashioned was great and had a decent wine selection, too. This is one of my favorite places to come!

Enjoyed a nice meal with colleagues at Door 222 last night. The burrata and cheese curds were excellent. The rest of the group spoke highly of the mushroom appetizer as well. For my entrée I had the pork chop. It was good, but nothing to write home about. Next time I return, I would opt for the fish and chips or the salmon based on what my colleagues ordered. The service was great.

We love door 222, but this afternoon was exceptionally awesome. Syles the bartender was incredible. He was so kind, fun and really helped make my mom's birthday happy hour awesome. She loved her gin and tonic drink and appreciated all his knowledge and conversation about all the fun drinks he has at the bar.

Store bought food at a high price — this is Door 222’s burrata.

I first visited this restaurant in the summer of 2022. The food was a 5 star but I visited it again the following year and the food was horrible. I guess it's more of a drinking spot because you had to be intoxicated to enjoy the taste of the food . It was also a poor presentation . I am a Chef so I know just by looking at the plate ,how the person is feeling who prepared it. I ordered a steak potatoes w/ gravy and a side of broccoli but it came with corn also ordered several sides for my kids. The only item that was good was the truffle fries ,1 out of 7. The bill was one hundred and forty dollars , for food that was disgusting. This place is for drinks and atmosphere , only. I did not drink there so I paid for horrible food and atmosphere. Thumbs down...

Our waitress was the best part of the experience. The food was tasteless. It tasted as if it had no seasoning! The kids burgers were overcooked and dry as well. Overall the food was horrible-especially for the price they charged.

Shannon has been our server both times we have dined here and we couldn't ask for better service. Chef John and his staff are amazing, this is our new go to restaurant for special occasions!

We came here for our Valentines dinner and it was not the experience we had hoped for. We have been here multiple times, but this time it was a bit of a let down due to poor service and underwhelming dishes. Our server was an older woman who didn’t seem to have any interest in being our server. She seemed to be more worried about the surrounding tables. It seemed like she neglected us due to us being a younger couple, since she would make multiple stops at the tables with older individuals and walk right past our table.Another let down from this dining experience was the food. With there being a special menu for Valentine’s day, we expected for the dishes to be top notch, but it seemed as if these dishes were made in advance and just heated up prior to being brought out to us. We ordered the duck breast and the mushroom tagliatelle. The duck breast had no issues really besides being a bit fatty and room temperature, while the mushroom tagliatelle came out cold and was very clumpy. It seemed like the dish was frozen and was reheated that night due to the pasta being served in many clumps. We expected high quality foods since it was a specialty menu for Valentines but that didn’t seem to be the case. The experience was not the one we were hoping to have on our Valentines night out. Hopefully if there is any future dining at Door 222 that there will be a better experience than the one we recently had.

Normally Door 222 is my favorite downtown restaurant. However, the latest menu update is slimmer on options. The 222 salad was replaced with an arugula salad, which I tried. I’m hoping the execution of presentation is still in process - toppings on the bottom (not many) and a thick mat of arugula - bland and disappointing. More to point, it was the rude and dismissive response by the manager to my comments on the dish when asked for my opinion. I have always had incredible service from the staff. This was unacceptable. I will be looking for a replacement go-to weekly watering hole.

This is my wife's favorite restaurant in Colorado. They serve gluten free and dairy free pizza which is perfect for her with her food allergies. The food here is great. The location is perfect. It is downtown Loveland and near some really cool little art stores and galleries.

The cheese curd appetizer was delicious, best cheese, curds I've ever had! We ordered the pizza and and the manchego quinoa cakes. Both were good. It would be nice to see a new vegetarian option on the menu as this has been the option for several years. Service was great. Overall it was nice.
