Superior mead, quality establishment with seating indoors and outside. They even offer other local options (mead and wine) from all around Colorado. If you’re hungry, for food or just cookies, they got you covered. There are even bees outside ? I don’t live in Loveland but I will come back, for sure!

It was a snowy, cold, day and we wanted to get out of the house for a drink someplace new. We heard about this place and thought to try it. It's downtown between 4th and 5th on Washington. The location is nice, it's is not particularly big but when we went it was comfortable and we found a seat easily. They have an outdoor patio that I did not photograph because it was dark. They have a tasting room and a little gift area. They showcase local art on the walls and have several games and toys for little ones to play with. They offer their own mead, meads and ciders from all over, non alcoholic drinks, wines, and an assortment of cocktails. They also offer pub snacks which we got the meat and cheese plate and giant pretzel. My 1.5 year old thoroughly enjoyed both and we were hungry so I forgot to photograph it lol. The mead was wonderful. They offer flights and my partner and I both had one. He got the warrior and I got the sweet as well as a DIY flight. The flights were very reasonably priced at 9$ for a flight of 3 which were decent sizes. The traditional was a nice easy mead, sweet but not overbearingly so. My partner really enjoyed the Ragnarboar which was raspberry infused. I loved the Oderir and would drink that warm in the fall. It was a great experience, our 1.5 year old was welcomed with us, loved the toys and the snacks and I was pleased to know and use the changing table in the bathroom. We will definitely be back. Can't wait for warmer months when the patio is opened.

Very cool, small, intimate place. The cherry mead was excellent.. cool place to go and hang out. Can I politely suggest the bar holds a garb night ?????️❄️?

OH MY GOD! I'm not a big drinker! Brought my friend here for a surprise birthday gift! (He loves mead) Food was excellant and the Odrerir spice was by far the best drink I've ever had! Prices were very decent also!

My husband and I stopped here while visiting family in Loveland. We tried different flights of meads and wine. The Meadkrieger meads are amazing ! Definitely worth the stop and we’ll definitely go back!

To start my friend surprised me with going to this place, And I am very surprised. I don't get very emotional or excited about things. But this place is great!!!The food we had was meat and cheese plate, hummus plate, and the meat ball skewer. For drinks we had their traditional, kvasir, heidrun, ans the strawberry rhubarb, the the by far best was the odrerir.

Great atmosphere and nice tasting meads. Wife liked the spice mead for the fall season and I enjoyed the variety and perfect flights. Will be back when in town.

I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ve never had mead before finding this place and it turns it’s incredible. I can’t believe I’ve gone my whole life without having mead and now I’m so glad I tried it. I can’t get enough of it. The wine they serve is also fantastic. The atmosphere is exquisitely intimate and inviting. I have never come across a more welcoming staff to include the owner; they are excited to introduce you to mead. They will let you sample everything they have to offer. Whether you’re looking for a place to have a date, want somewhere to hangout with friends, or you’re new to town and want to make new friends this is the place to check out. The next time you go out MeadKrieger is the place to go.

Great selection of local meads, in house options, awesome variety, wines and food available too. Only note is not many large party (4+) seating options. Definitely a great space, friendly service and quality goods. Excited to visit many times in the coming years!

What a great meadery! Every mead I've tried has its own characteristics and is balanced well. The Ordrerir and Ragnabaer were brilliant, and they're going to start offering bbq/smoked chicken wings? Be still my mead- and meat-loving heart.

This place is fantastic! They serve their own mead, as well as mead from other local breweries. We tried a flight of Mead Krieger's three types of mead (all of their current flavors): traditional, raspberry, and old oak. The traditional was our favorite, then the raspberry. We bought bottles of both to take home to Utah!We also tried a flight of mead from other local breweries, but their recipes aren't as good as Mead Krieger's.We also tried most of their food while we were eating. The meat & cheese plate, hummus plate, meatballs, Bavarian pretzel, and the baguette with dipping oil. It was all really tasty! Everything paired well with the mead and it was fun food to try with the drinks. The service was great! We were the only people in the place, so we were the only ones being served, but the worker was very friendly and did a great job. They have trivia nights on Thursdays, which we didn't make it to, but I think would be fun!The place has some cool decorations and local artwork that customers can purchase.
