I ordered the Texas Taco today with an upgrade to brisket. Brisket was fairly good and cherry chipotle sauce made it better. What really bugged me was they have shrunk the tortilla to where it only covers half of the taco. Makes it hard to eat as meat keeps falling out and making a mess. Considering that the price has gone up so much this year, you would think they don't need to keep shrinking the size of the tortilla.
This used to be my favorite BBQ joint locally when they first opened. Now they are only number two when it comes to BBQ. Sadly the quality has gone down in the past three or four years. Meats tend to be dried out. Have never liked their sauce--its runny and not much flavor, but the cherry chipotle is great as a substitute.
Staff was friendly and accommodating as usual. They do a consistently good job of selecting good employees.

Beef brisket absolutely disgusting!! I tried calling 3 separate time's and nobody picked the phone up once!!!
My wife and I ordered each our own to go meals and had it door dashed.
I ordered 2 meat, one brisket and the other pulled pork with beans & Mac and Cheese. My plate was fine. My wife's plate on the other hand was completely the opposite.
She ordered 1 meat which was brisket along with cheesy potatoes and coleslaw. The brisket WAS ALL FAT, all of it, it was so gross. She couldn't eat one bite of it. The cheesy potatoes were awful and the coleslaw bone dry & flavorless. She couldn't have been more disgusted.
This is indeed Texas BBQ. Big back certified. I will return 🤣

Got some food to go. Very friendly staff. Brisket was pretty tender and tasty, as well as the ribs and the excellent turkey. Was not a fan of the cup of dry pork- was supposed to b3 pulled pork i think. Hands down, the best was th3 most surprising = the chicken breast! Full of flavor, tender, spicy. Was not dry. I'm going back for sure. However, maybe try some other smoking woods? This was a bit too ashy smelling and tasting. I tried some meats here years ago and the smoke was better (but the meats were not as tender as they are now!)

Had a sampler platter and the bbq is some of the best in the area. The brisket is definitely the best in Colorado, not dry at all, very well done. Sausage and ribs were also very good. Great selection of drinks, love the onions/pickles/white bread, and the sides were decent. The view from the back patio is also outstanding.

People tend to go on here to leave bad reviews so I try to leave a good one if I feel like they deserve it. My google review standard is 4.6 or higher means you are probably getting a pretty dang good meal. I’d put these guys in the 4.6-4.7 range which is a great place to be on my scale.
Turkey sandwich was awesome. Can’t complain about that thing at all. Mac n cheese was like the poster child for creamy Mac.
Sauces are thin but tons of flavor. Can’t be mad about them at all. Definitely would come back for more.
As a native Texan and previous competition smoker I went in skeptical, but after eating here I wish I had come sooner. The brisket was pretty good, ribs were very tender but not so much to make them hard to eat, and the pulled pork sandwich was phenomenal. Two small complaints, the Cole slaw was pretty bland which actually made it a good topper for a sandwich but doesn't do well as a stand-alone side. The BBQ sauce is way too sweet and very runny, but No True Texan ruins their meat with sauce anyway so no big deal. As an added bonus the porch was a delightful place to eat. I will definitely be back.
