Gotta be honest, I don't get eating in your car. But enough people do to keep Sonic thriving, so we gave it a shot. The girl who took our order couldn't possibly have sounded more bored and like she'd rather be anywhere else. Time to pay - would I like to add a tip? - not really, tipping's supposed to reward good service, but my food's being held hostage... Pretty sure a different girl brought our food because she was actually nice. It's awkward though; if you park close enough to push buttons on the menu, there's not enough room for someone to come up to your window to hand in your food!
The fries were surprisingly good, but having ketchup packets with no place to squeeze them onto was a real problem. Why can't they use Whataburger-style tubs instead? But it got better; my Double SONIC Queso Smasher was better than good - one of the most enjoyable burgers I've had in a while. Just for the record, I had to rebuild the burger before I ate it because most of the jalapeno slices were in the bottom of the box. The burger definitely wouldn't have been as good without them.
Despite our best efforts - and we did try hard - some bits escaped to between the seat and the console, others ended up on the floor, and I was wearing a few. I guess that's just part of the experience the eat-in-your-car-people are cool with.

With few exceptions, the staff are uncaring and slow. The food quality is hit or miss. Many people abandon the drive-thru line because it's hopelessly slow.

Consistently and by a wide margin the worst sonic have ever been too. Third time I have been served inedible food. Will remember to never go to this one.

We are sitting here watching the staff eat for the last 15 minutes as we wait for our two drinks ordered via the app. I pushed the red button and the first thing I'm told is " sorry were short handed". I don't consider you standing around and eating for 15 minutes short handed I consider it deceptive, lazy, a lie, irresponsible, or something else you decide. God help us as a nation. We are in stall six so we can see you eating!!

They made a mistake and I got some one else bag of food. I'm glad to get 70 dollars of food for what it used to be 5 years ago at the price of 30. Will come back during rush hour
