Great food! Great service! They held our reservation and got us our table as soon as we arrived. Booth seats were a little tight to the table, designed for very skinny people and uncomfortable for larger folks but we made it work. Steak was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Loved coming here.

I found a double charge. A complete accident. I was just contacted by the steer. They were so great. Really wonderful. Ive always really appreciated them. They took care of the problem . I should have found the problem immediately. This is why ive been a 30 year customer. Thank you Black Steer.

This was our first time coming to the Black Steer & we will be back! Naomi was our server & she was so warm & helpful. The Chex on the salad was genius! The steak was cooked to perfection. Thank you guys!

My medium rare steak came out medium well, the lettuce in the salad was limp and the coconut pie was inedible. The improvements made to the interior are nicely done. Our waitress was nice, but avoided us as much as possible. After 50 years of patronage, we will not be back.

The steaks were high quality tender and cooked perfectly.
We always enter through the rear of the REAR OF THE STEER. Ha ha ha.... Really though! Its my wifes childhood favorite, pepper steak, and i have tried everything on the menu. Check it out and you won't be disappointed.

We went for our wedding anniversary last Saturday evening. My husband ordered a ceaser salad & it had wilted lettuce. His New York Steak had too much fat!!! My salmon was $23.00 and was a very small portion. It was cooked good, just not a very good portion for the price. We ordered 2 drinks, watered down Vodka Lemonade Rasp., flavored. Sorry we won’t be coming back.

Food is not good. The pepper steak was so tough the steak knife could barely cut it. It was also very dry. I can make a WAY better steak at home. Service was fine, as expected. Not amazing, but not terrible either. If you're going to go out to eat, there are many better options. I don't know how this place has been around so long. I don't recommend.
