We visited on Saturday January 28th to see the band, "Nobody's Business".The band was pretty good, I even understood some of the words after the 3rd song-- they were really loud.So loud that it was difficult if not impossible to hear anyone else while they were playing.( I know that is the nature of bands but it highlights one of the great skills of the lady serving us.) West End Lounge is the most unassuming place that you could easily walk past without realizing what a hidden gem you’re missing out on. The owner comes from Chicago and uses old family recipes to prepare his meats in house and the passion he has for what he does is echoed across every aspect of his organization.I feel like I need to preface this next statement with some background. Excellent martinis and pizza. Thin-crust, square-cut (party cut) pizza is fantastic. Even their gluten free crust is really exceptional.Grand piano and live music regularly.Love the cocktail lounge atmosphere.Highly recommended, will come here again.
