This place is severely underrated if you ask me!!! I say this because several of my local friends that I’d consider foodies haven’t tried it before but luckily I stumbled upon this absolute gem almost 10yrs ago on my way to Estes park & boy am I glad I did… The bison pie is probably in my top ten meals I’ve had in my 14yrs in Colorado. And I am always pleased by their wonderful selection of jarred items from that adorable back room shop but my favorite go tos are the Chow Chow & Vidallia onion mustard. We live in Westminster & don’t make it out towards RMNP nearly as often as I’d like but this is a mandatory stop on our route any chance we get. Plus it’s a wonderful option to take any family/friends who are visiting the area — Guaranteed good meal plus those jarred items make perfect souvenirs/gifts.
Very nice place! I had the Bison chili, buffalo chicken pocket and peanut butter cookie. All were very good. I was really curious how Bison would taste, and it tasted like some more flavorful beef I'd say. It came with cheese, onions, and a muffin. The cookie was huge!

Counter service but still asking for tips. Very high prices but good quality. Chicken pot pie innards were great but pastry rather hard and too much crust.

I’ve been buying pies here for many years. I just bought a gluten-free pie on Sunday. It was very stale. No expiration date on the box might be the reason. The person behind the counter was very rude. She barely said one word to me, not a great experience.
Dietary restrictions: The cherry pies here were great, I usually stop anytime I’m on my way to Estes Park. The pies do need to list expiration dates on the box. The one I just purchased was terrible.

Zero stars google said the place is open til 7 got off work an drove an hr and a half to get tjere 10 minutes after 6 and theu closed at 6. Was planning on feeding my family a nice pot pie and grabbing some apple butter. Severely disappointed that I drove round trip for 3 hours and came home empty handed will never stop by again
Always stop here omw to Estes or omw home from Estes. The menu has a wonderful array of aromatic smells, tantalizing tastes, and a lil' bit of sweet treats to invigorate your senses. Stop by and check it out. You won't leave disappointed.

After driving past this spot for years, we finally stopped in after a day of hiking in RMNP...and now I am committed to stopping in EVERY TIME I drive this way. The savory pies are absolutely fantastic. The pork green chile hits the spot on a cold day and veggie is equally tasty. The sweet pies are well made, generous and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth a stop for the local or tourist, they have something for everyone - even if cherry is not your thing.

Came on recommendation from many! I was in Boulder to visit my brother at school, my first time in Colorado and I had a day to go explore a bit while he had class so I drove up to Estes Park and conveniently this is on the way! Beautiful drive, and this is such a cool little spot. Steady flow of traffic which was cool to see that a shop like this can make it in 2024. Staff was very kind and gave the recommendation to try the Cherry Berry pie which was very good! Also picked up a black cherry soda for the drive which was also great! This is my Dad's favorite little pull off in the area and I can totally see why! You won't regret stopping!
Parking: Parking is quite easy, big dirt lot with plenty of spaces available.

The pies are delicious, the chocolate is delicious , and in my opinion their juice and cider is to die for. I always swing by when I find myself in Lions. At times line can be long but it's worth the wait!

I stop by every time I come back from a hike and get a cherry ice cream. At least once every couple weeks. Good stuff.
The food was spectacular as was the service. This is a must!
