I love the cidery and am only taking issue with the service at the fence post food truck. The woman who -owns?, manages?- it has always seemed a little harsh and slightly rude but I’ve worked in the food service industry and have compassion etc. So, my buzzer never went off so when my friends buzzer did, loud and clear, and who ordered after me, I went with him figuring my food was probably ready too. They told me they rang it twice, I told them it was literally in my hand the whole time and never buzzed and when my friends went off we all heard his. They tested mine and it buzzed right then, so they basically were like “well, it’s clearly working”, but it definitely didn’t work when I was inside. Whatever, didn’t really care, I just wanted my food. But they were definitely blaming me. So then, my husbands burger didn’t have its side so I came back and told them it was missing a side of beans. The woman, not even really directly talking to me was like “no it’s not”, and I was like “I ordered a side of beans” so she spitefully/passive-aggressively said, “ok, I guess dish her up a free side of beans”. It was just so immature and rude. I wasn’t trying to scam them out of a free side, I’d just bought 4 meals from them and one was missing a side - somewhere a mistake was made, was it on their end, was it in mine? We could’ve just figured it out respectfully like two adults, but she was just instantly defensive and rude. Yes, it’s a stressful job, but she seems to handle stress very poorly. Cause as I alluded to, this isn’t the first negative experience I’ve had w her, and I’ve heard others say the same. It’s a small town (it’s a small world), just be nice to one another.
